Gemma Chan stuns in a pale pink gown as she shares a sweet moment with co-star Channing Tatum at the Josephine premiere during the 76th Berlin International Film Festival

Gemma Chan and Channing Tatum shared a sweet moment on the red carpet as they arrived at the premiere of Josephine during the 76th Berlin International Film Festival on Friday.

The actress, 43, and Channing, 45, star as parents, Claire and Damien, whose eight year-old daughter, played by Mason Reeves, witnesses a brutal sexual assault in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.

For the glitzy event, Gemma stunned in a pink halterneck dress which featured a layered ruffled skirt.

She accessorised her very glamorous gown with a pair of diamond dangly earrings, a diamond-encrusted bracelet and a matching ring.

Meanwhile, Channing looked classically handsome in a loose-fitting pinstriped suit, which he layered over a black T-shirt.

As they posed for the cameras along the red carpet, the pair were seen smiling and laughing as they later joined their co-stars.

Elsewhere during the premiere, the film's lead, Mason, looked elated as she joined a string of A-listers at the event.

US actress, Syra McCarthy, put on an elegant display as she arrived in a single-sleeved, floor-length gown.

Film producer Marina Stablie stunned at the glitzy event as she arrived in a low-cut, floor-length, red dress.

A synopsis for the film reads: 'After 8-year-old Josephine accidentally witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park, she acts out in search of a way to regain control of her safety, while adults are helpless to console her.'

It holds a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and a Metacritic score of 86, with reviewers praising the "shattering" performances and Beth de Araújo's "masterful" direction.

The outing comes after Channing revealed he had a permanent reminder of the shoulder surgery he underwent earlier this month.

He shared the aftermath of his procedure with a selfie showing the unmissable scar grazing his right shoulder.

In the caption, he said he was taken by surprise over just how large the marking ended up being, but was happy to report it is 'feeling stronger day by day.'

'Not gone lie it's my fault for not asking. I thought it was gonna be two little holes,' he wrote.

'Apparently not the case. Hehehe. Well it doesn't matter anyhow I like scars anyway and it's feeling stronger day by day so thank you doc.

'Also I do like going through airport security wondering if my shoulder is gonna shut off the machine.'

He had the surgery to repair his separated shoulder earlier this month and has been keeping fans updated along the way.

He shared a photo of himself at the hospital, about to go under anaesthetic as he lay on a bed, clad in a hospital gown.

'Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let's get it in,' he captioned the post, uploaded February 3.

Channing also shared X-ray photos of his injured shoulder, including a rather gruesome one of the surgically-placed screw inside his shoulder.

The Magic Mike star does not appear to have revealed what exactly caused the procedure however, an injury such as the one he incurred could be the result of some sort of trauma.

Cleveland Clinic reports a shoulder separation happens 'when a fall or other trauma tears or stretches the ligaments of your acromioclavicular joint, which is the point where your collarbone meets your shoulder blade'.

Surgery may be needed in those suffering from severe cases, the publication added.
