In June, Davis spoke about being 'relaxed about getting older.' The actress celebrated her milestone 70th birthday in January, but said she feels like she is 35.

'I'm relaxed about that stuff, you look older but inside you're still the same person you always were,' she told The Times.

She also said she feels 'really glad' she had children in her late forties as she reflected on aging and her turbulent love life.

The star welcomed her daughter Alizeh, now 24, when she was 46, and twin sons Kian and Kaais, 22, when she was 48, with her former partner Reza Jarrahy, who she split from in 2017.

Davis said becoming a mother in her forties gave her a certain sort of confidence as she had gained 'strength' and a new outlook on life by playing 'really powerful women.

'I'm really glad I had children later in life, because by the time I had them I'd changed a lot. I had a different perspective on things. I was a bada*s on screen way before in real life, but I'd been transformed by playing these really powerful women. These brave, strong people rubbed off on me. I can't wait to see what the next decade will bring', she said.
