It's part of the game's various Power-Up Events that run on a rotating schedule throughout the year alongside events like The Rich Man's Shadow for Building upgrades, Heroes of the Great Game for Hero upgrades, and The Priest's Shadow for Research upgrades.

This month's The Rise of Dragons event runs from August 17 to August 19, and in that time players will be able to spend their stockpiled resources to utilize their upgrades and obtain Dragon Lore to accelerate their Dragon progression. It's a unique opportunity to enhance a notoriously difficult aspect of the game, with Dragon progression typically requiring a vast amount of resources compared to other areas.
