The third season of House of the Dragon is currently airing and with the show showing the events of the Targaryen civil war over a century before the events of Game of Thrones, we finally see how the dragons almost went extinct before Daenerys hatched her three children.

Now, with Rhaenyra Targaryen finally sitting upon the Iron Throne, it remains to be seen what the Greens will do next, but one thing is for sure, and that is that their dragons are set to perish in the ongoing war.

However, if you struggle to wait each week between episodes, worry not, as this brand-new video game release aims to coincide with the events of House of the Dragon, allowing you to unlock some of its most iconic characters, as well as follow along with the story so far.

Released back in June, Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is an epic strategy war game where players will raise dragons and conquer the skies during the Targaryen civil war. Available to download for free on Android, Dragonfire's official synopsis reads as follows:

"Command legendary dragons, forge powerful alliances, and conquer the Seven Kingdoms in the ultimate Game of Thrones strategy game. Build your empire, raise a fearsome dragon army, and wage RTS war across Westeros to claim the Iron Throne. Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is an epic 4X strategy war game where you lead your House through conquest, diplomacy, and dragon warfare in the most immersive medieval fantasy game on mobile."

It may be a brand-new release, but Game of Thrones: Dragonfire already welcomes weekly updates. Arriving every Monday following the latest House of the Dragon episode, which airs on Sunday evening, the update serves to coincide with the events of the show. As such, players can experience dedicated cutscenes, and even meet newly introduced characters. This week, that includes our first look at an older Tessarion.

As the dragon of Daeron Targaryen, Tessarion is the youngest during the Dance of Dragons, but she is no less formidable. Also known as "The Blue Queen" due to her stunning cobalt scales, Tessarion has now been added to Game of Thrones: Dragonfire. Now available to add to your formidable dragon army, The Blue Queen has been added to the roster as of 6 July.

"The Blue Queen gleams like stormlight caught beneath cobalt glass, her wings flashing bright and brilliantly against the smoke of war," the official blog post reads. "Beside the ancient terrors of Dragonstone, she is no less feared, for her flame burns hot enough to turn armor into molten stars.

"Bound to Daeron Targaryen, she has flown not just as a beast of blind ruin, but as a banner given wings: swift, disciplined, and terrible when called. Where she descends, courage rises among allies, and dread settles over foes, for the Blue Queen is beauty sharpened into battle."

 Dragonfire

Now, she arrives to Game of Thrones: Dragonfire, offering fire-focused abilities and epic agility in order to lay ruin to the battlefield. So, if you want to grow your dragon army in this beloved strategy game, make sure to check out its latest update.
