Game Of Thrones: Raven's Choice Officially Bringing Back Bran Stark

There is a deep well of unanswered questions when it comes to the larger Game of Thrones mythos, with dozens of unexplained mysteries across the A Song of Ice and Fire novels and various HBO television adaptations. While recent projects such as House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones: Dragonfire have delved into the origins and history of dragons, there are several far more interesting aspects of the lore that remain completely ambiguous.

Aside from the obvious overarching questions regarding the prophecy in The Song of Ice & Fire that remain unanswered in the source material, fans remain fascinated by storylines such as the Lord of Light, or R’hllor, the origins of the First Men and connection to the Children of the Forest, what actually happened with the Doom of Valyria, what lies to the west of Westeros, and the countless other mysteries that haven't been explored any further over the years.

Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of Game of Thrones lore deals with Greensight, an ability displayed mostly through Bran Stark's character arc, but one that remains shrouded in mystery. Luckily, thanks to the release of Raven's Choice, Bran Stark is officially back in a new season of content (via GoTL).

The new Raven’s Choice Kingsroad season is part of Game of Thrones: Legends and its recurring Kingsroad progression system (note that this is not related to the separate Game of Thrones: Kingsroad RPG). Running from August 17 to September 14, the season lets players complete Daily and Weekly Goals to earn Kingsroad points, climb reward tiers, and collect items such as Northern Brawler shards and Summoning Tokens.

The premium Goldroad track also includes 15 Legendary Champion Shards for Bran Stark (Winterfell Fugitive), though it is currently unclear whether the "Winterfell Fugitive" is a new Legendary Champion variant of Bran Stark or simply refers to the Legendary Champion Bran introduced in December 2025.

Either way, Bran’s existing Legends design directly incorporates his supernatural abilities, including Greensight and Warging skills. A Dream of Summer specifically allows him to warg into Summer, while his broader kit references the Raven’s visions and his Greensight abilities, using those visions to affect enemies in battle.

Game of Thrones: Legends is the highly rated free-to-play mobile match-3 RPG from Zynga that launched back in 2024, and is among the top-downloaded games on both the App Store and Google Play.

Legends incorporates tie-ins across all corners of the Game of Thrones universe, with Champions from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and House of the Dragon as well.
