The future is looking bright for the Game of Thrones franchise, and as fans gear up for the return of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms next year, there's a lot to look forward to in George R.R. Martin's continually expanding fantasy universe. For starters, details on the highly anticipated Aegon's Conquest film will surely begin trickling out soon, with fans speculating on potential casting decisions such as the beloved Henry Cavill as Aegon the Conqueror himself.

Outside film and TV, Game of Thrones is getting an amazing new real-time strategy game in 2027 titled War for Westeros, which I had the privilege of previewing myself and can confirm that fans are in for something truly special. The medium is especially well-suited for the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise, and the game doesn't overcomplicate its RTS foundation, making it accessible for fans from all walks of life.

However, there's another exciting Game of Thrones release that fans will not want to miss, and will need to act fast on as well, with Of Fire and Blood officially available starting today (via GoTC).

Of Fire and Blood is a brand-new Arc Event for the critically acclaimed mobile strategy game, Game of Thrones: Conquest, that was revealed as part of the larger Dragonseeds Arc for September. Of Fire and Blood is part of a multi-part Recipe Event that starts on September 4 and runs until September 6, with Part 2, titled A Tale of the Tavern, starting later this month on September 22.

In Game of Thrones: Conquest, Recipe Events are limited-time exchange/crafting events tied to the game's monthly narrative arc. During each event, special recipes become available in the Recipes section of your Inventory, letting you trade event currencies or materials for useful rewards such as gear templates and other progression items. The recipes can vary depending on factors like your Lord Level, so higher-level players may get access to higher-tier gear.

Dragonseeds has a stacked Arc schedule for September in Conquest, with several unique events slated over the course of the month, such as the Of Salt and Sea Trinket Crafting event and The Red Sowing PvE event later this month. Dragonseeds is primarily focused on tie-ins from House of the Dragon, which makes sense given the recent release of Season 3.
