Game Of Thrones: Legacy Of Old Valyria Officially Announced

While recent Game of Thrones content has largely been focused on delving into Targaryan history with a major emphasis on dragons, the universe is packed with mysteries that extend well beyond these topics. A new update to Game of Thrones: Legends has officially introduced the Legacy of Old Valyria Summon, available from July 29 through August 26 and featuring a lineup centered on House Targaryen's legacy. Players can use Exalted Tokens to summon Legendary Champions, including the newly added Viserys I Targaryen, alongside Alicent Hightower, Drogon, Daenerys Targaryen (Mother of Dragons), Viserys III Targaryen, and Meleys.

To access the event, players simply need to open the game's Summons menu from the main interface and select the Legacy of Old Valyria banner while it is active. The event serves as the primary way to obtain Viserys I's Champion shards during its month-long run, making it a great update for anyone looking to strengthen their Targaryen-focused roster or add one of Westeros' most influential kings to their collection.

For the uninitiated, Game of Thrones: Legends is Zynga's free-to-play match-3 RPG that blends puzzle and squad-building mechanics, with players recruiting iconic heroes and villains from across HBO's Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Much of the game's progression revolves around Summons, which are limited-time recruitment banners where players spend specialized currencies to earn Champion shards and unlock powerful new characters for their roster.
