Known as 'Cyberpunk 2077's' biggest fan, Angharad is a Welsh games writer who thrives in anything related to digital storytelling. If a video game explores the intricacies and horrors of womanhood, she is there.
Thanks to previous work at GAMINGbible, GameByte, The Loadout, Game Luster, Angharad has built a strong understanding of both the digital world and what fans want from it and is eager to share her thoughts and expertise with readers.
It is safe to say that author George R.R. Martin already had quite the cult following before the launch of Game of Thrones, but there is also no denying that the HBO adaptation catapulted the high fantasy universe into stardom on an unprecedented scale. Thanks to the success of the show, HBO has since welcomed two equally successful spin-offs: House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, but on top of that, other creators have taken inspiration from the franchise, especially when it comes to the gaming world.
On top of the upcoming Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, and the successful mobile title Game of Thrones: Dragonfire, Game of Thrones: Legends is also making a name for itself, and a brand-new season is guaranteed to introduce a brand-new legion of fans to the hit Android release.

Throughout September, Game of Thrones: Legends players can expect plenty of events to get stuck into, including the Endless Winter event, which kicks off on 14 September and ends on 12 October 2026 at 2 a.m. ET.

However, it is worth noting that if you do want to get your hands on the Champion Shards for Legendary Champion Night King, you will have to purchase the Goldroad Pass.
However, this is most certainly not all, as there are multiple events taking place throughout the month, each offering their own unique rewards. As such, players can take part in the Battle of the Bastards, Battle of Blackwater Bay, and the Assault on Rook’s Rest Quest, to name but a few.
Additionally, there are multiple events that give a nod to the hit Game of Thrones spin-off shows, such as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms with a quest centered around Egg himself. So, if you want to immerse yourself in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire and get stuck into a free mobile game, look no further than Game of Thrones: Legends.
