Gal Gadot’s Fast & Furious 11 Role Seemingly Revealed After Gisele’s Cliffhanger Return

Gal Gadot has been with the Fast & the Furious franchise since 2009, and with Fast Forever on the horizon, she revealed what she hopes to see in the final installment.
Years before Wonder Woman, Gadot made her debut as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious and returned for Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, which saw her character save Han, but she appeared to die in the process. Gadot stunned fans when Gisele made an appearance at the end of 2023's Fast X to save Letty and Cipher.

That shocking cliffhanger is expected to be resolved in Fast Forever, which arrives in theaters in 2028. During an interview with Collider, Gadot opened up about the upcoming film, saying that she hopes all the characters, including Gisele, "come together" and finish out the journey "on a very, very high, great note."
In fact, she believes it would be a "great idea" for this final installment to come full circle, with everyone back in Los Angeles, where the very first movie took place.
The pre-production process for Fast Forever has not been smooth sailing, to say the least. Originally scheduled for 2025, it faced multiple delays, and there were even reports that Universal might not make the movie if the budget could not be reduced.
Those issues have seemingly been taken care of, with star Vin Diesel recently confirming that filming will get underway this December after he got the chance to read the script.
On this topic, Gadot told Collider that part of the reason why Fast Forever is taking so long to make is that everyone involved wants to "make sure that the script is being completely figured out in a perfect way," which "takes time" since they want to get the ending right.
"Everybody come together and…I don't know. I think part of the reason why it's taking so long is to make sure that the script is being completely figured out in a perfect way, and I think it takes time. But I know there's so many people involved who love this franchise — I'm one of them — and I hope we will finish on a very, very high, great note.
"That's a great idea [when asked if Fast Forever should return to Los Angeles]. You see. Why are you asking me? You have all the answers."
The most recent film, Fast X, grossed $704.8 million. It had a reported budget of $378 million, the highest in the franchise, which meant that the box office haul was considered underwhelming by Universal Pictures. Despite that outcome, Louis Leterrier is coming back as director for Fast Forever, with Michael Lesslie as screenwriter. Collectively, the franchise has earned $7.3 billion.
After joining the Fast and the Furious franchise, Gadot went on to play Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Wonder Woman 1984, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and The Flash. Her other film credits include Red Notice, Death on the Nile, and Snow White. Gadot's latest project is the action thriller The Runner, which was just released on Prime Video.
While Gadot won't be reprising Wonder Woman anymore, as Warner Bros. has rebooted that franchise, she will be back as Gisele in Fast Forevercome 2028. If Diesel's recent production update is anything to go by, then she'll be back on set later this year for one final action-packed adventure.
Fast Forever will be released in theaters on Friday, March 17, 2028.
