Many of us have no doubt thought about what it would be like to be the child of someone famous.
Growing up in a mansion, luxury vacations all over the world and access to a lifestyle most can only dream of.
However, some people take their dreams of having a famous parent a little too far.
Mulitple stars from Jay-Z to Michael Jackson and even King Charles have had people claim they are their illegitimate offspring.
Some have even gone as far as to get DNA tests to try and prove they are the child of a famous person.
MailOnline takes a look at some of the stars who've faced accusations of secret offspring.
Jay-Z
A man named Rymir Satterthwaite, 31, has been fighting to prove that Jay-Z is his biological father for a decade, with his late mother Wanda claiming she was just 16 years old when she fell pregnant.
A 31-year-old man named Rymir Satterthwaite has been fighting to prove that Jay-Z is his biological father for a decade, with his late mother Wanda claiming she was just 16 years old when she fell pregnant.
Rymir's mother Wanda alleged she had sex with Jay-Z in 1992 when she was 16 and he was 22. At the time she was in an on-again-off-again romance with her high school sweetheart Robert Graves.
The question of Rymir's paternity did not turn into a legal tussle until 2010 - two years after Carter married Beyoncé – when she requested that a Pennsylvania court make both men take a paternity test in order to determine who her son's real father was.
Rymir insists that Jay-Z's legal team has made endless attempts to subvert the legal system in order to avoid taking a test. It was found Robert had no biological relation.
The case began with a pre-trial in Camden County, New Jersey on August 13, 2012.
The rapper has never denied the romance, but has refused to take a paternity test
During the pre-trial, Carter's attorney argued that Dr. Lillie Coley - who was acted as Rymir's legal guardian since his mother handed over custody in 2011 - had 'no jurisdiction' over his case because it was first filed by Wanda in Pennsylvania, and therefore should be heard in the same state.
The case was dismissed outright because Rymir was over 18 years old at the time of the pre-trial and, according to Pennsylvania state law, paternity must be established before a child reaches the age of adulthood.
The court ruled that the case should be tried under New Jersey law, which states that the age of 'parentage' is 23.
Carter's legal team then argued that the rapper should be exempt from undergoing a DNA test in New Jersey because he did not live or own any property in the state - despite public records linking him to homes in Alpine and Newport.
Rymir has lost every case he has brought.
Rymir finished: 'I remain committed to seeking the truth and justice for myself, my mother all those who deserve answers and accountability.'
Phil Lynott
A father-of-four previously claimed he was the secret son of Irish hard rock musician Phil Lynott
Lead singer of hard rock group Thin Lizzy Phil, pictured at a concert in London in 1980, died in 1986. He already has two daughters and a son (pictured in 1980)
A father-of-four previously claimed he was the secret son of Irish hard rock musician Phil Lynott.
Kevin Finnie, who was born and raised in Liverpool, made the sensational claim to the Irish Mirror, stating that his foster parents told him when he was seven years old.
He wanted a DNA test to prove that the musician, who died when he was four-years-old, was his biological father.
Phil Lynott, who died in 1986 and has three children, was the lead musician for Thin Lizzy which had international success with 'The Boys Are Back in Town' and 'Jailbreak'.
'As life's gone on, I've thought about it more and more, and now I feel the time is right to tell the world that Phil Lynott was my dad', said Kevin.
'I'm not looking to gain anything from this, I just want the truth to be known'.
Unfortunately for Kevin, not even his own family members were convinced of his claims, with his half-sister Anita describing them as 'attention-seeking'.
Anita told The Irish Sun: 'If my mother was paid off by Phil Lynott, why did she spend her life living in caravans by the side of the road in poverty?'
Phil was father to two daughters Cathleen and Sara along with son Macdaragh who was put up for adoption when he was born in 1968.
Macdaragh learned Phil was his biological father in 2003 and this was confirmed by Phil's mother Philomena in 2010.
King Charles
An Australian man who believes he is King Charles' 'secret son' has made a wild claim that a four-way paternity test should be done in a bid to prove his claims
An Australian man who believes he is King Charles' 'secret son' has made a wild claim that a four-way paternity test should be done in a bid to prove his claims.
British-born Simon Charles Dorante-Day has made headlines around the world over unproven claims he is the illegitimate love-child of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
He was born on April 5, 1966, in Portsmouth, in the UK, and was adopted at eight months old.
The 58-year-old claims that as a child, his adoptive grandmother - who worked for the late Queen Elizabeth II - told him on her deathbed that he was Charles and Camilla's son.
The father-of-nine also claims that in the months leading up to his birth, Charles was sent to Australia to study, and Camilla disappeared from the public eye for about nine months.
Mr Dorante-Day, who lives with his wife Elvie in Queensland, has done several interviews with media, explaining why he believes he is related to the King and Queen, including comparing physical attributes.

He also claims his kids share similar features to the children of Prince William and Kate.
He had said previously he is committed to pursuing legal action in an attempt to force the King into a paternity test.
Mr Dorante-Day's case alleges King Charles and Queen Camilla began their close relationship in 1965, a year before his birth certificate says he was born.
However, Charles and Camilla are widely reported to have met at a polo match in Windsor Great Park in 1970.
Mr Dorante-Day insists that Camilla kept him until he was eight months old, hiding him from the world with the help of the royal family and protection officers, and claims to have been told it was a condition of the adoption that his names Simon and Charles were not changed.
The father-of-nine also referred to Queen Elizabeth II as his 'grandmother' at the time of her death.
Michael Jackson
In 2010, a niece of singer Diana Ross named Mocienne Petit Jackson alleged she was the illegitimate love child of Ross' sister Barbara and Michael Jackson
Petit Jackson alleged she was conceived in 1975 when Michael reportedly impregnanted Diane's sister when he was only 17 (Michael pictured in 2005)
In 2010, a niece of singer Diana Ross alleged she was the illegitimate love child of Ross' sister Barbara and Michael Jackson.
Mocienne Petit Jackson, who lives in the Netherlands, filed documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court asking a judge for permission to conduct a DNA test in order to prove her claims.
Petit Jackson alleged she was conceived in 1975 when Michael reportedly impregnanted Diane's sister when he was only 17.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, Petit Jackson also accused Michael's mother Katherine Jackson of scheming to 'abduct' her when she was nine in order to preserve her famous son's 'reputation'.
But an LA. County Superior Court judge did not give her permission to pursue the DNA test.
Petit Jackson also wanted custody of MJ's kids and a cut of the inheritance - but according to TMZ those claims were also denied.
Elvis Presley
A woman named Desiree Presley claimed to be Elvis' daughter afteer her mother Lucy de Barbin alleged she had a 24-year affair with the singer
Multiple individuals have claimed to be the illegitimate offspring of Elvis Presley over the years.
Elvis has only one child - a daughter named Lisa Marie who died aged 54 from a cardiac arrest - with Priscilla Presley.
A woman named Desiree Presley claimed to be Elvis' daughter afteer her mother Lucy de Barbin alleged she had a 24-year affair with the singer.
Lucy even wrote a bok called Are You Lonesome Tonight? detailing her claims which were never substantiated.
The writer claimed in an interview with The Washington Post she didn't tell Desiree about Elvis until 1977 - the year he died.
She said: 'I thought if one person found out, everybody would know. I just said things like, 'I have a wonderful secret to tell you' and 'Her name is Desiree,'' things like that. And he said, 'I hope what I'm thinking is true.''

There is no DNA evidence to back up her claims.
A man named Elvis Presley Jnr, who worked as an Elvis impersonator, also claimed the King of Rock and Roll was his biological father.
The Daily Express reported that his website claimed: 'He [Elvis Presley Jr] is the son of the late Elvis Presley born out-of-wedlock, unbeknownst to Elvis, on December 24, 1961 in Gary, Indiana the result of a liaison between Elvis Presley and Angelique Delores Pettyjohn, a young actress who was an extra in the film Blue Hawaii.'
Presley Jnr alleged he supplied documents and sworn testimonies to allow him to be 'recognised as Elvis Aaron Presley Jnr'.
However, none of these alleged documents or DNA evidence has ever come to light.
Maurice Gibb
Nick Endacott-Gibb (pictured left), who was given up for adoption as a baby, claimed in 2019 that he is the biological son of the British performer (pictured right) and band studio manager Patti Nolder, after a DNA test provided a '100 per cent match' with Maurice's son Adam
A man claiming to be Maurice Gibb's lovechild said the late Bee Gees star's family refuse to believe he's related to them - despite a DNA test 'proving' they're connected.
Nick Endacott-Gibb, who was given up for adoption as a baby, claimed in 2019 that he is the biological son of the British performer and band studio manager Patti Nolder, after a DNA test provided a '100 per cent match' with Maurice's son Adam.
After searching for his biological parents his entire life, Nick met Patti in 2003, and discovered she worked with the Bee Gees as a studio manager, enjoying a close relationship with the band - Gibb brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice.
Nick, who was raised by a middle-class family in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, believed that his father was Chris Andrews, frontman of the Sixties rock band Fleur de Lys, but a DNA test in 2009 came back negative.
But after Patti's sister told him Maurice, who died in 2003, was his biological father, he took three separate facial recognition tests which showed there was a high chance the pair were related. One returned a match percentage of 95.2.
Maurice's widow Yvonne refused his request for a DNA test, despite years of begging.
However, having sent a saliva test to an online genealogy firm, he was shocked to discover the Bee Gee's son Adam had provided his own DNA to website Ancestory.co.uk years previously - and the match gave Nick the answers he needed.
He formed a close friendship with Maurice's sister Lesley Evans, the eldest of the five Gibb siblings who is based in Australia, and has recorded music with her daughter Debora, a take on the band's 1979 hit Tragedy.
But other members of the Bee Gees' family haven't been quite so welcoming, sparking an internal rift among the Gibb family.
Maurice's niece Peta, Andy's daughter, whose DNA matched Nick's, told how the family, including Maurice's daughter Samantha, have been torn apart by his claims.
Writing on Bee Gees' fans page on Facebook, she said: 'This is an emotionally charged family issue that has raised a lot of different feelings across the family.
'I haven't said anything about it publicly before – even though my name and DNA has been and is being thrown around all over the place against my wishes – and I won't again. It's not my business.'
Maurice died unexpectedly in 2003, aged 53, due to complications of a twisted intestine.
JIMMY SAVILE
A woman named Georgina Ray claimed to be Jimmy Savile's secret love child and said demanded new DNA tests after her initial bid to prove she is his daughter failed
A woman named Georgina Ray claimed to be Jimmy Savile's secret love child and demanded DNA tests after her initial bid to prove she is his daughter failed.
Georgina was born after her mother had a two-week fling with the DJ in 1970 while working as a waitress in a cafe.
She went public with her sensational claim after Savile died in 2011.
The paternity tests were carried out using cigars and other items from Sir Jimmy's flat in Leeds and holiday home in Scarborough. Mrs Ray contributed a swab of DNA through her doctor. But the tests failed to prove her claim.
Ray insisted she is 'not a gold-digger' and just wants proof that he is her father.
She said: 'I know beyond any doubt that Jimmy Savile was my father. It's not just the way I've grown up to look just like him. My mother told me from an early age how she had met him and what happened.'
In October 2012, an ITV documentary aired examining claims of sexual abuse by Savile.
Scotland Yard later launched a criminal investigation into allegations of child abuse by Savile spanning over six decades, describing him as a 'predatory sex offender'.
