Frasier star Kelsey Grammer was spotted beaming as he broke cover in Los Angeles this Tuesday amid a fresh burst of family drama.
That day, his ex-wife Camille Meyer furiously accused him of having forgotten their daughter Mason's 'milestone' 25th birthday over the weekend.
However Grammer, 71, showed no sign of disquiet when he surfaced that evening outside the glamorous Beverly Hills restaurant E Baldi.
His cheerful disposition was undisturbed even by the fact he appeared to be injured, insofar as he was wearing a splint on his left leg.
Grammer, who first shot to fame on Cheers in the 1980s, cut a casual figure in a simple white v-neck t-shirt teamed with black shorts.
The Daily Mail has reached out to his representative for comment.

Meyer, 58, scathingly inveighed against Grammer on Instagram that day, claiming Mason had been met with radio silence from him since turning 25 this past Saturday.
'A daughter should never have to wonder whether her father remembers her birthday. Three days later, and still not a call or a text,' she wrote.
'You can be a beloved actor to the world, but being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off. Fame, accolades, and public admiration mean very little if you neglect the people who should matter most,' she fumed.
'A mother never stops hurting when her child is hurt. 25 is a milestone birthday. Sometimes the silence is deafening, and the disappointment speaks volumes.'
According to Meyer, her daughter spent the weekend 'checking her phone,' nursing hopes that 'her father had called, even from an unfamiliar number or that his message had somehow ended up in her spam folder. She even checked there, searching for any sign that he had reached out.'
Her blistering message was accompanied by a baby photo of Mason with her father, whose face was blotted out by an animated clown mask.
Meyer, born Camille Donatucci, worked as a dancer before becoming Grammer's third wife in 1997 at the pinnacle of his sitcom fame.
They welcomed two children via surrogacy, Mason and a 22-year-old son called Jude, before their marriage disintegrated in 2011.

In the comments section of her new Instagram post about Grammer, Meyer also issued a blistering rebuke of his present wife Kayte Walsh

Less than two months after he went public with his split from Meyer, Grammer announced he was having a baby with the woman who subsequently became his fourth and current wife - Kayte Walsh, daughter of English footballer Alan Walsh.
Kayte suffered a miscarriage, but her relationship to Grammer endured and they exchanged vows two weeks after he finalized his divorce from Meyer, since which the couple have welcomed two sons and a daughter.
In the comments section of her new Instagram post about Grammer, Meyer also issued a blistering rebuke of his present spouse.
'A stepmother should want to encourage a healthy, loving relationship between a father and his daughter,' Meyer wrote.
'Sadly, from my perspective, that hasn't been Mason's experience. Instead, she has felt increasingly excluded from her father's life and home.'
Meyer argued that notwithstanding 'the adult relationships involved, a daughter deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and loved – not pushed to the sidelines.'
She maintained that a '25th birthday should be a celebration of love, not another reminder of the distance between a father and his child.'
Amid the implosion of her marriage to Grammer, Meyer achieved TV stardom in her own right on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
She eventually found love again with her present husband, attorney David C Meyer, whom she tied the knot with in 2018 at a beach club in Hawaii.
