Frankie Muniz's recent post on social media is causing some concern among his fans.
The actor and Hair Club spokesperson, 39, posted a cryptic message on X/Twitter writing, 'Can't sleep. Hard when you realize your friends aren't really your friends.'
The star, who has also signed a contract to race full time in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Reaume Brothers Racing did not go into detail about what type of betrayal may have happened.
His fans did their best to offer him some comfort.
'I'd look at it the other way: It lets you know who your real friends are,' one follower advised.
Another expressed concern: 'Yo Frankie u good bro?' they asked.

One fan offered their listening ear: 'We met a long time ago. I think you are a good person and if you need someone to vent to I am here,' one said.
'My dude. Saw this and felt compelled to say a few words. Hopefully they reach ya. Your family and 1 or 2 day one's are all ya need, cur the rest out without fights or reasons. The people who care about you, truly care and live you for what you are not what you have, will stick,' another wrote.
Others offered to take care of the problem for him.
'Give me their names and addresses,' one offered, 'I'll take care of it,' said another.
Some fans offered a tongue in cheek response, considering the actor's history of sometimes making downhearted posts.
'Classic emo frankie muniz sadpost,' was the way one described it.
'Hard to be in the middle all the time...' quipped another, referring to Malcolm in the Middle, the show that made the actor famous.
Fans of the family comedy that ran in the early 2000s were elated to learn Muniz and his co-stars would be returning for new episodes of the show.
The actor, along with his TV parents Bryan Cranston, 68, and Jane Kaczmarek, 69 made the announcement in a fun video on social media December 13.

The plot of the new episodes will center around Malcolm and his daughter who are drawn into the family’s chaos when parents Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.

'When (creator) Linwood Boomer suggested it might be time to bring everyone’s favorite dysfunctional family back for a bit of a reunion, we couldn’t think of a more iconic and influential series to revisit, along with a truly brilliant cast to reunite.'
Episodes from the original series are already available on the streaming service, but no release date has been announced yet for the reunion episodes.
