EXCLUSIVE: Veteran literary agent Frank Wuliger has joined Echo Lake Entertainment as a Senior Executive in both the Management and Production Divisions, in a transition to management after nearly 30 years as a partner at The Gersh Agency.
A graduate of USC and Loyola Law School, Wuliger’s career has also included roles at WME, APA, and ICM. He brings with him clients including writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, who teamed to pen the first three Despicable Me films for Universal/Illumination and also boast credits including Schmigadoon!, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, and The Secret Life of Pets.
Wuliger’s roster also includes Academy Award–winning writer and director Kevin Willmott (BlacKkKlansman, Da 5 Bloods), writer, director, and actor Don McKellar (No Other Choice, The Sympathizer), directors Philippa Lowthorpe (H Is for Hawk, Call the Midwife) and Zelda Williams (Lisa Frankenstein), as well as writer/director Elan Mastai (This Is Us, The F Word), among others.
A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, as well as a founding member of the boards of the Starlight Foundation and the Starbright Foundation, Wuliger told Deadline, “I’m excited to join my friends at Echo Lake. Having seen the collaborative way they work with one another and their clients, I look forward to being part of such an impressive team.”
Echo Lake CEO Doug Mankoff commented, “I’ve known and respected Frank for many years. His leadership and wisdom will be invaluable to both our management and production divisions as we navigate the changes in our business.”
News of Wuliger’s hiring at Echo Lake follows word of three late 2025 appointments at the company: talent managers Julian Ramirez and Lauren Feinstein, plus lit manager Samantha Starr.
