However, one of its most compelling new additions is touge races, a popular Japanese racing form that sees two drivers take to mountainous paths to brave dangerously narrow roads, often filled with hairpin turns, in a battle to see who comes out on top.

Arashiyama Takao

Region: Minamino

This race sends you through a forest with a handful of challenging turns spaced out between straightaways.

Bandai Azuma

Region: Shimanoyama

This race promises a scenic route that is a joy to behold, but some of its sharp turns can sneak up on you.

Hakone Nanamagari

Region: Nangan

This race tasks you with perfecting your skills on a lengthy series of unforgiving hairpin turns.

Mt. Haruna

Region: Takashiro

This race balances high-speed thrills with twists and turns that will put you through the wringer.

Norikura Skyline

Region: Sotoyama

This race gives you plenty of room to reach fast speeds, but its dangerous turns can spell disaster if you're not prepared for them.
