Former Sunrise star Melissa Doyle looks tense at the airport with her husband John Dunlop after couple celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary

Everyone knows that travel can be stressful and exhausting.

And Mel Doyle looked tense as she touched down at Sydney Airport with her husband John Dunlop on Wednesday.

The former Sunrise star and her partner of over 30 years appeared a tad frosty as they waited for a taxi or Uber.

Mel opted for a casual chic ensemble for the flight, wearing a mid-length denim skirt and a navy sleeveless top.

The Smooth FM weekend breakfast host accessorised with a Louis Vuitton handbag and a pair of leather Birkenstocks.

The couple appears to have been travelling a lot of late, with the pair also attending the Australian Open on Friday. 

Melissa recently celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary with her husband.

In November last year, the former newsreader shared a heartfelt tribute to her hubby to mark the milestone occasion.

She posted a throwback photo of the pair on their wedding day.

'30 fabulous years of being your better half - lucky you,' she wrote.

'Happy anniversary @johndunlop Love you xx.'

She and the sports marketing executive share two children – a daughter, Natalia, and son, Nicholas. 

Melissa reflected on their successful marriage during an interview back in 2020.

'We are not that couple that sits there and breaks down the minutiae,' she said in Stellar magazine. 

'We both had the same goal, which was to have a comfortable, happy life,' she added. 

Melissa recently hosted Oprah Winfrey's highly anticipated Australian tour.

The TV veteran stepped down from her role as Sunrise co-host in 2013 and went on to become the host of Smooth FM in October the same year.
