The Seagate BarraCuda Compute 24TB HDD is marked down to just $249.99 at Newegg, a superb price for a large storage drive, especially with the recent price rises across the board on RAM, memory, and storage.

Bigger is most definitely better, especially when it comes to storage capacities. The more room, the more data can be hoarded. Available at Newegg, this deal knocks $50 off the $299.99 list price of the drive, a 17% discount. The drive in question (model no: ST24000DM001) is on sale for its lowest price in at least the last 30 days.

The Seagate BarraCuda comes in the standard 3.5" metal chassis and is a CMR drive with a 512MB cache and 7,200 RPM disk spinning speed. A SATA 6Gb/s interface delivers the fastest available speeds for this kind of storage and is the standard for most PC and NAS setups. Its large capacity means you can store reams of data, including pictures and video files.

Seagate's BarraCuda range of hard drives comes in several sizes, from a tiny 1TB drive to this 24TB monster and above. The BarraCuda is backed up by Seagate's 2-year limited parts and labor warranty. We are starting to see massive price increases on some of our favorite computer components, with RAM especially impacted.
