Surprising footage has resurfaced of Ruby Rose praising Katy Perry at the 2012 premiere of her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D.
The Australian actress, who recently claimed Perry sexually assaulted her in 2010 at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne, is seen gushing about Perry in the clip filmed at Event Cinemas in Sydney on June 30, 2012.
'I'm so excited, I love Katy to bits,' Ruby begins in footage filmed on the red carpet.
'I was just with her at the hotel before and she's getting dressed up, choosing between all these different outfits... it's like I get to see the real Katy,' she continued.
'I get to come watch the film where everyone gets to see the real Katy, so it is an honour.'
The Batwoman star went on to say she was such a devoted fan of the California Gurls hitmaker that she wanted to share the experience with others.

'The person I was bringing ended up calling in sick, so I grabbed two fans out of the audience. I was like, "I want you to be part of this, come with me". I know that is what Katy would have wanted me to do. It's going to be a lot of fun,' Rose added.
The unearthed footage follows confirmation that police from the Australian state of Victoria are investigating the sexual assault allegations, which Perry has publicly denied.
'Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,' a Victoria Police spokesperson told Daily Mail on Wednesday.
'Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne's CBD.
'As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.'
Rose has since made a post on Threads saying she can no longer talk about the incident while the police investigate her claims.
'Last update on this: As of this afternoon, I have finalised all of my reports,' she wrote on Tuesday.
'This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.

'It's going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people's experiences, but I'm not.
'This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief. I can start the healing process now. And move forward. I love you all so much.'
Daily Mail has reached out to Perry's representatives for comment.
Perry hit back at Rose's allegations, denying she had sexually assaulted the Orange Is The New Black star, branding the claims 'dangerous and reckless lies'.
Rose claimed in a social media post that the incident with the singer took place at a Melbourne nightclub when she was in her twenties.
She added that it had taken her years to speak about it publicly.
'I'm now 40. It has taken almost two decades to say this publicly,' she said.
In a statement, a representative for Perry said: 'The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.
'Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.'
It is not the first time the Australian actress has criticised Perry in public. She described the singer's track Swish Swish as 'purposeful poop' in 2017.
However, Rose backtracked on the comments just days later, writing on X: 'Being mean doesn't suit me and leaves me feeling dirty.
'Truth is being mean leaves more leaks in your camp than the Titanic and I get so triggered when I think bullies don't get held accountable and it makes me think I should say something... but it's not [my] place.'
