Fitness influencer Liam Fitzgerald's cause of death at age 29 revealed after horror motorcycle crash

Fitness influencer Liam Fitzgerald's cause of death at age 29 has been revealed just days after a horror motorcycle accident. 

Fitzgerald's passing was confirmed by his girlfriend, Jamie Lyn Rinaldi, as she emotionally shared on social media that he died Friday, October 30 at around 2am after sustaining 'severe injuries.' 

A spokesperson for Broward County's Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services told People that Fitzgerald's cause of death was blunt force injuries. 

The manner of his death was an accident, the outlet reported. 

Daily Mail has reached out to Broward County's Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services for comment, but has yet to hear back. 

Over the past weekend, Fitzgerald's girlfriend took to Instagram to share the devastating news that the influencer had died early Friday morning. 

She wrote he had 'suffered severe injuries' during the crash, and 'despite the efforts of those who tried desperately to save him, they were unable to bring him back. 

'There are no words to describe the heartbreak of this loss,' Rinaldi continued. 'This is an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time for everyone who knew and loved him.'

She concluded her post by writing: 'Please keep Liam's family, loved ones, and everyone closest to him in your thoughts and prayers. 

'Please give us grace, love, and privacy as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Rest peacefully, Liam. We love you so much.'

His family also posted a heartfelt tribute to Fitzgerald, noting that his 'work ethic was incredible.'

'When he put his mind to something, he gave it everything. He was talented at just about anything he tried and so proud of the life he was building and everything he accomplished,' they shared alongside a photo of the influencer in a dark suit and tie against a backdrop of sea and Miami skyline.

Based in Miami, Florida, Fitzgerald had amassed over 1 million followers on Instagram.

He worked as a personal fitness and social media coach, offering one-on-one training sessions through his website.

Fitzgerald shared workout routines and physical transformations while flexing his muscles and showing off his tattoos.

He offered tips on lifestyle, fashion and finances.

In April, a jubilant Fitzgerald shared with followers that he had purchased his first home.

'I honestly couldn't have made this happen without all of you, all the support you guys have given me over the years… beyond grateful,' he wrote alongside a photo of him in front of the contemporary-style abode.

'I'm excited for this new chapter in my life,' he added. 

His family revealed in their post that Fitzgerald had 'his own struggles' as well.

'He battled with alcohol on and off and knew it was hurting him,' they wrote, adding they were sharing this personal detail 'in the hope that his story reaches someone who needs it.

'If you're fighting that battle, please stay strong, reach out to your loved ones, and ask for help. You don't have to fight alone. Keep going.'

They said: 'He wasn't perfect, and never pretended to be. But he always strived to grow and do better. He had dreams, ambitions, and so much more life to live.'

Followers offered their condolences in the comment section.

'I'm so unbelievably sorry brother! I had the pleasure of meeting you a few times and it was truly always love when you were around,' one wrote. 

'God took an amazing human from us today. You have inspired millions of us and I'm so grateful to have even had the chance to know you. Rest in peace. We will see you again soon.'

'I don't even know how to put it into words, but this man has been a true inspiration to me and so many others around the world,' another Instagram user shared.

'He didn't just inspire me to train. He inspired me to become a better version of myself. This guy changed my life forever. Thank you for everything, Liam. Rest in peace.'

A third ventured to say: 'He was a great example for modern men. Tragic loss.'
