FFXIV Starlight Celebration: How to get the Starlight Stalls Barding and all other event rewards

6 days ago 4

Are you feeling the festive cheer of the holiday season yet? Well, if not, Final Fantasy XIV has you covered with the Starlight Celebration. Dive into a new quest, spread warmth and cheer for everyone, and get into the mood of this cheerful season.

To begin the Starlight Celebration 2024, head to Old Gridania and talk to Amh Garanjy at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre (X:10.2, Y:9.4). This year, things are a little different and Gridania is playing host to the first ever Starlight Stalls, a festive marketplace filled with merchants and vendors coming together to celebrate the season.

But all is not well, of course, and it’s up to the WoL to take the reins and save Starlight Stalls before it’s even begun.

How to complete “Reach for the Stalls” in FFXIV

“Reach for the Stalls” is the first quest of 2024’s two quest Starlight Celebration, and is picked up from Amh Garanjy. Once you’ve spoken to her, you’ll need to talk to the Starlight Stalls Guide nearby to be taken to the instanced area that plays host to the Starlight Stalls market.

Once you’re there, talk to Amh and then head off to find the following three NPCs, before heading back to Amh to discuss your findings:

  • Bleary-eyed Worker (X:5.8, Y:6.4)
  • Fen-Yll Worker (X:6.0, Y:5.4)
  • Baenfaeld (X:6.4, Y:6.0)

During your discussion with Amh, a couple of familiar faces will appear in the shape of Saulinne and Tenny. They want to help, and we need all the help we can get, so it’s a nice little coincidence. After the cutscene, talk to Saulinne to finish the first quest and then again to pick up the second.

How to complete “Spreading the Warmth and Cheer” in FFXIV

Whereas the first of the two Starlight Celebration 2024 quests rewards you with nothing other than quest progression, “Spreading the Warmth and Cheer” will reward both the Starlight Stalls Barding and a nice cup of Kinderpunsch.

After talking to Saulinne, head to New Gridania and make your way to the Carline Canopy to find Tenny outside (X:12.4, Y:13.2) before heading inside to talk to Mother Miounne together. She will provide you with Kinderpunsch that can be distributed among the cold vendors of the Starlight Stalls market.

Just as you’re discussing how to transport the keg of Kinderpunsch, who should show up but Godb- I mean, “The Saint of Nymeia”. He’s accompanied by an appropriately dressed Chocobo who is more than capable of transporting the keg of Kinderpunsch, and you can now return to the Starlight Stalls market via the guide at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre.

When you get there, interact with the Chocobo to have it accompany you, and then distribute the Kinderpunsch to the NPCs that you interacted with during the previous quest. Once that’s done, all you need to do is talk to Saulinne (X:6.0, Y:4.4) again to finish the quest and get your hands on the main rewards for this year’s event.

As well as the Barding and the initial Kinderpunsch, there are some other exclusive items available to purchase. To get them, talk to the Starlight Supplier in the instanced Starlight Stalls (X:6.1, Y:6.7).

Here are all of the items and how much they cost:

  • Winter’s Warm Bough Orchestrion Roll (2,500 Gil)
  • Festive Starlight Celebration Advertisement (2,500 Gil)
  • Starlight Mug Tower (2,500 Gil)
  • Starlight Kinderpunsch (2,500 Gil)
  • Magicked Prism (Sunshine) x10 (8 Gil)
  • Magicked Prism (Stardust) x10 (8 Gil)

There are also a few other vendors at the Starlight Stalls. The Sundries Vendor (X:6.3, Y:6.7) sells a variety of dyes and Dark Matter, while the Flower Vendor (X:6.8, Y:4.6) sells various seeds and gardening supplies.

Starlight Celebration in Lower Jeuno

As part of the Starlight Celebration this year, Lower Jeuno has also undergone a subtle change. If you head there via the passage in Yak T’el, you’ll be able to hear the seasonal music from FFXI.
