EXCLUSIVE: Emmy and Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Huffman has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas.
Huffman is wrapping her arc as Dr. Joan Ridley on Fox’s hit medical drama Doc under a year-long series regular deal for Season 2. She is perhaps best known for her role as ‘Lynette Scavo’ on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, a performance which earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, as well as three SAG/Actor Awards and three Golden Globe nominations. She won a Golden Globe award, as well as Oscar, SAG/Actor and Critics Choice award nominations for her leading performance in Duncan Tucker’s Transamerica. She went on to star in ABC’s American Crime, earning three more Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe noms.
Along with her role in Doc, she most recently starred in Lifetime’s two-part film The Thirteenth Wife: Escaping Polygamy, which tells the true story of Rena Chynoweth, a woman who escaped a life of oppression and violence within a polygamous cult. Her recent credits also include a guest starring arc on Criminal Minds: Evolution and a UK stage debut in the 2024 Park Theatre production of Hir. Additional credits include Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia, Phoebe in Wonderland, and Tammy’s Always Dying.
In addition to Gersh, Huffman is represented by Atlas Artists.
