The FBI has released photos of a potential subject in the Nancy Guthrie investigation. This is the first lead in the case since the mother of Today co-host Savannah Guthrie was reported missing 10 days ago. You can see the photos below.
The 84-year-old Guthrie was reported missing at midday on February 1, after being dropped off by a relative at her Tucson-area home at around 9 pm local time the night before.
In a short solo video put up online Monday, Savannah Guthrie went directly to the public with a plea for help, telling her 1.6 million IG followers, “We are at an hour of desperation, and we need your help. She was taken, and we don’t know where, and we need your help. So I’m coming on just to ask you, not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are, even if you’re far from Tucson, if you see anything, you hear anything, if there’s anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement.”
Just yesterday, an FBI spokesperson said the agency still had not identified any suspects or persons of interest in the mysterious disappearance of the 84-year-old Guthrie. The FBI also said Monday it is unaware of any continued communication between Savannah Guthrie’s family and suspected kidnappers more than a week after the Today co-host’s mother was reported missing.
