The 2026 season of Farmer Wants a Wife has seen another romance crash and burn.
Farmer Zac Kuiper has called it quits with his final lady, Maya Bini, after the pair found love on the show and walked into the sunset during the July finale.
In a joint statement shared on Instagram, the South Australian apple farmer, 24, and the 22-year-old medical receptionist said they were 'best friends' but could not make a relationship work.
'From the beginning, our connection was strong. We then became each other's best friends, which led us into an amazing relationship,' the post read.
'Navigating our relationship while being long-distance proved to be no easy journey. The timing for us to make that next move wasn't right, and unfortunately, this shifted the relationship.
'We have therefore decided to go our separate ways.'

The pair continued: 'We are so incredibly grateful to Farmer Wants a Wife for bringing us together. We will both cherish the memories and experiences we shared forever.
'We still have an immense amount of love and respect for each other, and definitely zero bad blood.'
Zac added an additional statement in the comments section, writing: 'Forever grateful for all the laughs and smiles. What an incredible experience.'
The former couple were the last two still standing from the 2026 season of the show, which has historically had extensive success in finding farmers their wives.
The series has seen multiple marriages and babies, but the latest crop of contestants have failed to find lasting love.
In their finale episode, Zac had told Maya that he was falling for her and saw a future for the two of them.

At the Logies last month, the pair were seemingly still going strong, and Maya even lamented that other couples from their season had not made it.
'It's obviously upsetting to hear that all the other farmers and their chosen ladies have ended,' Maya told TV Week.
'But I guess it is such an intense environment, so we're just very happy that we ended up being together and finding each other through this experience.'
Zac added: 'I think it's just one of those things. We just focused on each other.'
That focus came unstuck just weeks later, with the former lovebirds now confirming it's all over.
It was a happier ending for another of Zac's love interests from the show.
Zac sent home Miranda Chopping partway through the season, but the 21-year-old has since announced her surprise engagement.
Miranda revealed in August that her fiancé Joshua Brown proposed to her in Paris.
