Fans of Tammy Hembrow have noticed her cute-as-a-button daughter, Posy, bears a striking resemblance to her famous mum.

The fitness influencer, 30, took to TikTok this week to share an adorable clip of the playful pair hamming it up for the camera.

Miming actions to the Project Pat tune Life We Want, Tammy was very much the doting mother as she happily hugged her cherubic two-year old.

Fans were quick to gush over the cute clip, with some pointing out that Posy bared a genetic similarity to that of her mother.

Tammy previously revealed she was born with a rare genetic mutation, which is called Polydactyly - an extra finger on each hand resulting in a total of 12 fingers.

When she was pregnant with Posy in 2022, Tammy announced she'd be removing Posy's extra fingers following her birth after an ultrasound revealed her daughter shared the same mutation.

'Popps have a small little finger,' one fan pointed out on Tammy's TikTok, to which another replied: 'Yesss like her mom and all of her big sisters.'

Another chimed in asking: 'I remember you saying you had extra fingers does Po? Or any of ur other kids?'

While others chimed in to gush over Posy's cuteness and saying that she looked like Matilda from the 1996 film, others were quick to suggest she is looking more like her mum every day.

'Po has an extra pinky,' another follower replied.

In May 2022, while Tammy was pregnant with Posy, she revealed her daughter has the rare genetic condition that also affected Tammy and her siblings.

During a Q&A on her Instagram at the time, she revealed Posy's extra fingers once she was born.

'Will you be removing your baby's extra fingers?' a fan asked.

'Yes no reason to keep them. I had mine removed shortly after birth,' Tammy replied.

The fitness guru previously revealed in a video posted to YouTube that her baby has 12 fingers.

'We just saw the little baby, and the surprise was that she has 12 fingers, like me, like her mummy,' Tammy said in the video, in which she is seated in a car next to her now-ex fiance and Posy's dad Matt Poole.

Tammy further explained that her sisters, mother and brother also had the mutation, but that her first two children, son Wolf, six, and daughter Saskia, five, who she shares with ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins, 26, did not.

'Amy and Emilee had extra fingers when they were born as well, and so did my little brother. So did my mum. It runs in my family,' she said.

'It skips a few people, like it skipped Wolf and Sass, but this baby has 12 fingers. Isn't it crazy?'

What is Polydactyly?

Polydactyly is the condition which results in people having extra fingers or toes.

The extra digit is usually a piece of soft tissue that can be easily removed.

Occasionally it contains bones, but the excess finger(s) is rarely functioning.

The condition affects only a small portion of the population, and is believed to be inherited from a dominant gene, or can be a syndrome.

Famous people with the condition include comedian Drew Carey and American baseball player Antonio Alfonseca
