A Fortnite news creator has shared that the co-founder of Riot Games has no plans for the Arcane skins to return to Fortnite. This wouldn't be the first time that skins in Fortnite have been limited to players, as the Travis Scott skin also made a one-time appearance throughout the duration of his in-game event. Other popular battle pass skins have also obviously never returned, encouraging players to purchase quickly when they see something they love.
The popular creator and Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR has broken the news to fans that the Arcane skins may never return to Fortnite again. Appearing only when the series was first released, many fans have been eager to see them return so they can pick them up. It isn't looking good for them though, as when the co-founder of Riot Games was asked about the potential of them coming back, he allegedly claimed: "It's on us (that they don't return). We only did it for the original launch of Arcane."

Arcane Has Only Been Getting More Popular
With the reveal that Riot Games apparently isn't planning to re-release the Arcane skins, many are unsurprisingly disappointed. Taking to Reddit to share the news and express their discontent, the user Leather-Trade-8400 breaks the news, adding "Shame on Riot Games" for these poor practices. Other commenters have similar feelings, with another agreeing "Riot is worse when it comes to exclusive content", something that they continue to do throughout their games.

Did you play League of Legends before watching Arcane?
I have always heard about League of Legends and seen friends play it, however, I was never really interested in that style of game, so I never played LoL. Watching Arcane without any info on the lore was fine, making for more surprises as the show went along. Now that Arcane season 2 ended the series, I'm more interested in what other animated projects could come from the franchise than in playing the game.
Despite the overwhelming success of Arcane and the positive feedback from fans about the series, Riot Games seems to disappoint their audiences through their in-game choices like these. With expensive and limited skins in all of their games, like League of Legends and Valorant, players are often required to fork out large sums to get the look they're after. Keeping this Fortnite skin limited is only going to be even more harmful for fans in the long run, encouraging practices like account selling that Fortnite actively bans.
Our Take: Sometimes, Fans Should Be Heard
Riot Games Need To Listen
Never underestimate the power of some dedicated fans, as often they can make all the difference. With the Riot Games co-founder making a new statement to add that "I will talk to the team about Arcane skins in Fortnite, not sure what we can do if anything, but I will look into it", it would seem that the fan feedback has loudly and clearly been heard. While it may not make a difference, this is one instance where fans should be listened to, as limited skins like Travis Scott leave the majority missing out.
Riot Games haven't been seen in the best of lights recently with their skin practices either, releasing a League of Legends Arcane skin that can cost players up to $250 through gacha-like mechanics. Now, with yet another hard-to-obtain skin within Fortnite, people cannot help but feel a little bit burned by these choices. It would seem that the player-base is being heard though, and voicing a critique of these poor practices might stop them from getting worse.
