In the absence of any official information about the Switch 2--or whatever Nintendo decides to call its next system--fans are grasping on to any morsel of possible news, and another piece has now emerged.

As reported by GamesRadar, peripheral company Satisfye apparently posted and deleted a trailer for the ZenGrip 2, and the video might have included a very blurry look at what might be the Switch 2 with the peripheral attached. Like previous leaks, this one also seems to suggest the Switch 2 will sport a similar design and form factor to the original Switch.

While the trailer is no longer available, Satisfye did distribute marketing material on December 6 that told fans to "get ready for the next generation console..." with its ZenGrip 2. The marketing material also included an image of the ZenGrip 2 and the words "top secret" to describe the device it would be used for.

"Ergonomic hand positioning and the ultimate gaming experience for the next generation Switch," Satisfye said. The peripheral can be preordered now, starting at $50, with shipping estimated to commence in Spring 2025. This doesn't mean the Switch 2 will be out by then, of course. This is not the first or only alleged Switch 2 accessory to be on sale, but there are plenty of reasons to be dubious right now.

For this new Satisfye product, the product page states that this is the "expected design," and that the design will be "tuned to financial specifications." Also worth noting is the Satisfye store page never mentions Nintendo, but it's pretty clear that is what it's referring to. A small image on the website includes the Switch design with a note saying "Made For Next Gen Console."

Top Secret.Top Secret.

The Switch 2 will be officially announced by the end of March 2025, which is when Nintendo's current financial year ends.

The Switch 2 specs are still up in the air, though a Digital Foundry report claimed that the system would use an Nvidia custom T239 processor. Nintendo recently confirmed that the successor will be backwards compatible. Nintendo Switch Online will also carry over to the new system. At least one game has already been announced for the upcoming console.
