It has been eight years since the last major Fallout game was released, and over a decade since Fallout 4. Whereas most developers tend to capitalize on their winning IP, Bethesda has seemed fairly content to let it rest quietly in the background while it explores uncharted waters (or perhaps space would be more accurate), something that has very much frustrated long-term fans. Fortunately, either by mandate from Xbox or as a consequence of Starfield not quite generating the buzz Bethesda hoped for, it appears the studio is very much back on the Fallout bandwagon.

With the Fallout 3 remake already getting teasers, and Obsidian Entertainment taking the reins for a little while with its project, fans will certainly be enjoying a lot of Fallout-related media in the coming years. Included within that is a huge new release that costs quite the sum. In fact, this may be Fallout's most expensive project to date, and one that will surely grab the attention of fans, whether for good or ill. Regardless, this 2027 Fallout project is one to keep a very close eye on.

A power armor from Fallout walks through the mists.

Whether it is the critically acclaimed TV show or the TTRPG, several new Fallout projects have more or less kept the IP alive in players' minds. Of course, Fallout 76's surprisingly effective attempts at reclaiming its plethora of lost goodwill have also done wonders for the series and given fans a fairly reliable experience they can continuously return to. While we all await the inevitable Fallout 5 that's looming on the horizon, or the aforementioned remakes and side projects, it is these kinds of projects that will continue to sustain fans' interest.

One of these projects costs an eye-wateringly astonishing $430, a figure that's more than the cost of every Fallout game in existence combined. This project is the T-60 Rust Power Armor 1/6 scale action figure from threezero, a roughly 12-inch-tall figure of the iconic Power Armor suit from Fallout that's packed with as much detail and articulation points as one would expect for that price point.

A figure of the power suit from Fallout covered in rust.

Available for pre-order right now via the official threezero website, the figure comes with the aforementioned power armor suit covered in a rust decal, an AER-9 Laser Rifle for said suit to hold, two ammo packs for the rifle, and a male head that can be swapped out for the suit's helmet. There are 35 points of articulation in the figure, allowing prospective purchasers to pose it however they please, and the armor pieces can be swapped out for a corresponding piece from any other threezero-produced 1/6 scale Power Suit action figure.

This $430 figure is expected to ship in Q4 2026, although it could come as late as 2027, depending on your region and whether the estimated shipping window is met. Of course, for those who don't feel like spending over $400 on a figure, they can still look forward to the many other upcoming Fallout projects and spin-off media in the works. However, for those who do, this incredible Fallout figure will look incredible in any dedicated fan's collection.
