Fallout 76 fans are in for an exciting year ahead, with a massive new roadmap update that will definitely have players marking their calendars. The roadmap includes several free updates and planned downloadable content, and it seems like fans are going to have their hands full in 2026.

According to a newly released 2026 Fallout 76 roadmap (via X), players will be getting a new free update at the beginning of March, several Double Score and Double Mutation opportunities through June, and weekly events running until at least this summer, such as the Invaders From Beyond and The Big Bloom events.

Fallout 76 Is Getting Big Updates This Year

The new Fallout 76 roadmap is packed with upcoming content and updates that players will definitely want to mark on their calendars, with the highly anticipated Backwoods Update scheduled for March 3 and the new Rip Daring Mini Season stretching from April 21 to May 5.

Fallout 76 has recently been growing in popularity after the success of the Amazon television series Season 2 and recent free offers on various platforms, such as Xbox Game Pass and limited-time offers on Steam. Despite the game initially releasing to mixed reviews, it's a dramatically different experience than when it first launched, with loads of new features and content that are well worth checking out if you're a fan of the franchise.

Players can expect to see plenty of exciting updates this year, with the roadmap laying out weekly events and bonus periods from March through June. Seeing as this only covers up to this summer, there's very likely going to be another roadmap released in the coming months as well, and fans have their fingers crossed for an official, free next-gen upgrade.
