Fallout 4 is endlessly getting new content that fans can download for free or, occasionally, for a very small fee. It's great to see a game that's over a decade old continue to get supported by both Bethesda and fans alike, especially as its expansive world still has plenty left to offer both returning fans and those entirely new to it. Of course, there is now an abundance of new players thanks to the player-count-boosting TV series, which makes these kinds of updates and expansions feel more necessary than ever before.

Additionally, long-term fans need something to do as they while away the hours speculating wildly about everything new coming to Fallout 5, a game that has eluded the community for quite some time and now finally is becoming a reality. Fortunately, adding to Fallout 4's aforementioned phenomenal support and giving these fans the distraction from the upcoming Fallout game they deserve is a brand-new expansion titled Call of the Republic.

There has already been so much new Fallout 4 content in 2026, to the point that it is actually rather astounding. Much of this, of course, comes from the fact that the modding community only continues to grow as new people are introduced to its captivating world. Additionally, the rate at which mods are made is significantly increased the more experienced modders get with the inner workings of Bethesda's flexible yet endlessly complex engine.

Among this abundance of new Fallout 4 content is the aforementioned Call of the Republic mod. While not quite as big as some of the recent expansion-sized Fallout 4 mods, Call of the Republic does add a handful of new items that fans of both Fallout: New Vegas and season 2 of the Fallout TV show will absolutely love. Created by unoctium, who has created numerous other mods via the Creation Club for Fallout 4, Call of the Republic adds several NCR-themed outfits for the player to wear.

The first is the NCR Power Armor seen in season 2 of the Fallout TV show, a notable edition considering just how incredible it looks compared to the base power armor in the game. The second addition that Call of the Republic adds is the NCR Trooper outfit from Fallout: New Vegas. Finally, users get access to a brand-new anti-material rifle. The mod is only 55mb, meaning it won't take up much space, and can be downloaded on PC and Xbox via the Creation Club.

It will cost 300 Creation Club Credits to purchase, which means you'll need to spend $4.99 to unlock it. Of course, it is up to each individual to decide whether these cosmetic additions are worth the cost. For those who want something a little bigger, there are plenty of mods that add entire new quests, regions, and voice NPCs that cost around 500 Credits to purchase. Regardless, it's great to see this NCR-related attire added to Fallout 4, and, indeed, any form of new content for the game be released.
