ExpressVPN just beat its lowest-ever prices for the second time this year! Perfect if you're traveling for St Patrick's Day

ExpressVPN has just announced its lowest-ever prices, for the second time in 2026. The drop means prices now start at $2.27 per month, a significant reduction considering monthly prices previously exceeded $5.

While it's not the best VPN overall right now, it's seen significant improvements recently.

It has increased speeds with Lightway Turbo, added features such as ExpressAI and ExpressMailGuard, and added support for Meta Quest. That said, its biggest issue has long been its price.

Unfortunately, the new pricing isn't permanent —it's part of ExpressVPN's recent renewal of its gaming partnerships with the likes of G2 and Method.

That said, it's perfect timing if you're about to travel for spring break or St Patrick's Day. There's no VPN with more locations that's cheaper right now, including NordVPN and Proton. What's more, you get 4 months extra thrown in with two-year plans.

An Advanced plan is the choice I'd recommend. It's cheaper than both NordVPN and Proton per month, offers more months of protection, gives you more simultaneous connections, and access to all of ExpressVPN's new features.

This ExpressVPN deal is superb if your primary focus is security for a low price, but that doesn't mean it's the only VPN you should consider.

Surfshark offers faster speeds over WireGuard and more features, but uses fractionally less secure encryption. That said, it starts from only $1.99 per month.

NordVPN is the best VPN overall. It's super quick, equally secure, and has some great features. However, it is more expensive at $3.39 per month.

Proton VPN sits somewhere in the middle. It's super secure, quicker than NordVPN but slower than Surfshark, and offers a good number of features for $2.99 per month.
