Everyone is saying the same thing about Margot Robbie at the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week as video of her front row goes viral

Margot Robbie certainly turned heads on Monday when she debuted a chic bob hairstyle at the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week. 

However, some fans have questioned her choice of attire for the fashion-forward soirée.

A now-viral video from the event, shared by Vogue, showed Margot sitting in the front row alongside Blackpink singer Jennie Kim and One Battle After Another actress Teyana Taylor.

Jennie and Teyana were glammed up to the nines for the occasion, while Margot went for a much more casual look.

It was a fact not lost on fans who were quick to comment on Margot's relaxed vibe.

'Why is Margot Robbie in a silk tank and jeans?' one commented.

Another chimed in suggesting that Margot's choice of couture was surprising, given the head-turning outfits she wore during the recent Wuthering Heights press tour.

'Kinda surprised they dressed Margot Robbie down given her whole Wuthering Heights tour,' they wrote. 

A third went one further, suggesting that Margot's outfit was a deliberate choice by the iconic fashion house.

'Chanel really hates Margot,' they commented.

Margot's 'relaxed fit' was also made apparent when she was snapped again alongside Jennie, singer Olivia Dean, and actress Lily-Rose Depp, with all three putting their most glamorous foot forward.

It wasn't all criticism for Margot, however, with many taking to the comments to fawn over her look.

'Margot Robbie looks different... no makeup? Lil makeup? Lost weight? Can't put my finger on it,' one wrote.

Another, summing up the sentiment of many, added: 'I had Margot's hair cut in 1989. Still love it!'

lMargot opted for a sheer white vest which revealed her lace bralet underneath, while she completed the look with light blue denim jeans.

She added a quilted grey bag from the designer to the sophisticated ensemble and opted for a radiant makeup look, including dramatic blush, lipstick and mascara.

For jewellery, the former Neighbours star kept things simple with double hoop earrings and a simple gold ring. 

Margot has been a Chanel brand ambassador since 2018.

She recently extended her partnership with the French fashion house to become the face of the Chanel N°5 fragrance in a campaign released in October 2024.

Margot's appearance at the Chanel show comes after her huge Wuthering Heights promo tour with her co-star Jacob Elordi.

Last week it was reported that the gothic romance surged past $150 million worldwide, cementing itself as one of the year's biggest theatrical surprises just two weekends into its run.

The Warner Bros./MRC release added $14.2 million domestically, while Sony Pictures Animation's GOAT edged out the top North American spot with $17million, according to Deadline.

The film, directed by Emerald Fennell, dominated overseas, pulling in $26.3million from 76 markets.

With a reported $80million production budget, the R-rated romantic drama has now grossed $151.7 million worldwide, outperforming expectations and becoming a rare adult-skewing hit.

Like the Emily Brontë novel, the film, 'set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors,' follows the 'intense and destructive relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw,' as per IMDb.

Margot and Jacob play lovers Catherine and Heathcliff in the highly-anticipated romance drama, produced by Robbie and her production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
