He's become an unexpected fashion icon, with his signature style being adopted by millions of men.

So the news that you could actually own a piece of Paul Mescal's wardrobe has sent fans wild with excitement, after the actor announced he was flogging his Gladiator press tour wardrobe on Vinted.

The Oscar-nominated star's collection of 10 items, priced from £160 to £800, is set to go live from December 16, with all the proceeds going to to Irish charity Pieta, which he is an ambassador for.

And while the array of shoes, jeans, jumpers and one baseball cap may not all boast exclusive designer labels, the upcoming sale has already generated plenty of buzz online, thanks to the soaring popularity of Paul's ever-evolving style.

GQ has just announced the Normal People star, 28, as its Most Stylish Person of 2024, and it's become almost impossible to walk down the street and not see his sporty, laid-back aesthetic being adopted by the younger generations.

His influence was first felt when he built his reputation for wearing the tiniest short shorts, which quickly became his signature look after he wore a pair to Milan Fashion Week in June.

And while the array of shoes, jeans, jumpers and one baseball cap may not all boast exclusive designer labels, the upcoming sale has already generated plenty of buzz online, thanks to the soaring popularity of Paul's ever-evolving style

While, Paul recently tried to insist that he was not to blame for the sudden surge in men adopting the small short look, his influence on the current men's style landscape is inescapable and as his star has continued to rise, so has his fashion icon status.

This means that for anyone hoping to purchase one of his clothing items on Vinted come Monday, will need to be prepared to face off against stiff competition.

In fact, when Paul previously sold the iconic chain he wore as Connell in Normal People in 2020, it reached almost £63,000, with the eye-watering sum also going to Pieta.

The hand-picked collection includes one-off pieces that were custom-made for Paul as well as everyday luxury pieces from brands and was curated by the Irish star and his stylish Felicity Kay.

Speaking about the Vinted sale, Felicity said: 'Paul has always had a strong connection to vintage and pre-loved fashion. He's often eager to rewear pieces we've styled before or items from his own wardrobe.

'Partnering with Vinted for Paul's Gladiator II promotion tour made perfect sense as it gave us the opportunity to delve deep into his love for second-hand clothes - in fact, I found a pair of Ben Davis workpants on Vinted, they fit Paul like a dream - no adjustments needed! They became one of his favourite pieces during the tour.

'But we were equally both excited about finding a way to give the clothes he wore during his tour a second life, so selling them on Vinted felt like the perfect fit, especially with the added bonus of supporting a good cause.'

MailOnline has all the information on the pieces up for sale, so you can be ready to add straight to your basket when it goes live.
