Every K-Drama Coming To Netflix, Hulu, And Viki In August 2026

South Korea has been powering through Summer 2026 in full force, rounding out an outstanding July with seasonal returns, new hits, and more than one supernatural standout. But going into August, K-drama audiences have more than tail-end entries like A Bona Fide Killer and The Affair Was Only Just Beginning to look forward to.

Among the shows coming in the season ahead are multiple music-oriented dramas, both classic and pop-oriented, and at least one more new thriller to enthrall Netflix viewers in particular. But more than one streaming service is bringing the heat with K-dramas in August 2026, with Rakuten Viki and Hulu bringing an idol drama and an action comedy return sure to please audiences on each platform, respectively. Between these and ongoing successes like Spooky in Love sailing through the summer, there's no danger of nothing to watch as multiple tried-and-true genres are being represented here.

A strong reminder that longform K-dramas are still alive and well, with Love on the Menu reportedly set to have 50 episodes, clearly more than the usual limited runs modern fans and newcomers are adjusted to, with this being far from the medium's longest even then. The series, initially debuting in July but coming to Viki in August, stars Ahn Hee-yeon (Call It Love) and Ha Seok-jin (Blind) as side dish shop owner Han "Leader Han" Gyu-rim and Italian chef and restaurant owner Kim Mu-jin, respectively. The series depicts their meeting, with them having previously dated until Gyu-rim, already struggling to uphold her family, ultimately ended things with him.

But eight years later, they meet again as ex-lovers, as they weigh the possibility of getting together against the pressures that caused them to break up before. Love on the Menu thus joins as yet another addition to the lovable lineup of K-dramas about food, drink, and romance.

My Bias, My Boss

Lovely Runner and Castaway Diva fans know the absolute powerhouse potential of a good idol K-drama, and My Bias, My Boss certainly has plenty to show for that as it joins Viki's opening salvo for August 2026. But, much like time travel and being stranded on a desert island, My Bias, My Boss isn't without its additional hook, taking place in a chic start-up to create a fun workplace romantic comedy.

Nam Da-reum (Kim Hye-joon), much like many pop idol stans, was a particular fan of Lee Chan (Cha Woo-min) for 13 years, only to find a shocking opportunity when starting her job at APPELLO, where Chan turns out to be a co-founder. Further complicating matters, Da-reum's attempts to remain professional around her favorite idol, or "bias", when she falls into a complicated love triangle between Da-reum, Chan and her workaholic CEO, who happens to be Chan's childhood friend.

Our Sticky Love

With an attention-grabbing title like that, Netflix is already rolling out the red carpet for another surefire rom-com hit. Hearing the challenge across the aisle with My Bias, My Boss getting Kingdom's Kim Hye-joon, Our Sticky Love brought some star power of its own to open the month. This series features none other than Jung Hae-in in the male lead role, known for memorable performances in everything from D.P., Love Next Door, While You Were Sleeping, Something in the Rain, and others too plentiful to name. In addition, opposite Jung Hae-in is Ha Young, who recently came to greater prominence with the bombastic Netflix K-drama, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.

Our Sticky Love features two utterly star-crossed lovers reuniting in truly bizarre circumstances, with prosecutor Go Eun-sae (Ha Young) on the trail of a powerful crime syndicate, only to get into an accident inflicting her with amnesia. In a chance encounter, Eun-sae finds Jang Tae-ha, who is currently working as a coach after a previous life of athletic stardom and a turn as a gang member. While Eun-sae has no recollection, Tae-ha is instantly certain: he just found his first love once again, and takes her in to live with him under the guise of her protection, which will surely have greater implications down the road. A sticky situation indeed.

Flex X Cop (Season 2)

Already an anticipated arrival for the Disney content distribution platform, Flex X Cop's season 2 return is a known fact by fans. Still, it's a strong distillation of the service's persistent dedication to truly excellent K-content ranging from comedies, to some positively incredible horror and thriller programming.

Flex X Cop will feature its central chaebol heir, Jin I-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) as he finishes his time at the police academy, returning to Violent Crimes Unit 1. But, to his chagrin, the new team leader joining the force around then is none other than Ju Hye-ra, a truly decorated counter-terrorism veteran and the instructor who tormented I-soo endlessly at the academy.

A Trap Called Desire

Another new revenge drama featuring an adopted protagonist, Go Eun-seol (Jeon Hye-won) hardly faces a similar upbringing to the stars of shows such as Perfect Marriage Revenge or Mother. Instead, Eun-seol is treated lovingly by her parents in this new life, only for everything to be upended seemingly overnight, when she is suddenly accused of murder, driven to expose the truth of what happened and clear her name, instead of resigning herself to rock bottom as the real perpetrator intended.

The perpetrator, in this case, is a powerful figure with a kindly public veneer, with plenty of skeletons in their closet as Eun-seol begins to unearth them. Eun-seol stands as the one victim of a broader conspiracy who refused to be completely crushed. Thus begins a revenge plot threatening to expose every lie upholding those who ruined the lives of her and many others, to sustain their ambitions beyond pristine public-facing roles.

OK! Let's Get Divorced

Starring Lee Min-jung of Boys Over Flowers and Once Again fame opposite Kim Ji-seok (When the Camellia Blooms, My Unfamiliar Family) in this divorce drama featuring marital discord, the difficult realities surrounding dreams and business, and when to call it quits. Baek Mi-yeong (Lee Min-jung) and Ji Won-ho (Kim Ji-seok) star as the central couple, with the CEO and co-founder respectively of G&White.

Featuring what appears to be a hasty love story progressing quickly from dating to engagement within a matter of months, OK! Let's Get Divorced will explore the gradual unraveling of this married couple amid their struggling business and unfulfilled personal ambition.
