Just days after announcing their new streaming services will both launch on Aug. 21, ESPN and Fox are now joining forces to roll out a streaming bundle. On Monday, the two companies shared that they've agreed to offer a package that grants access to Fox One and the new ESPN streaming platform for $40 per month. Customers can sign up beginning Oct. 2.
Sports fans who want to stream live events without cable may find these new package options appealing. Bundling can help you save roughly $10 a month, as separate subscriptions start at $30 a month for ESPN and $20 for Fox One.
"Working with Fox One on this bundle offer allows us to bring ESPN's world-class sports content to even more fans in a seamless and innovative way," said Sean Breen, EVP, Disney Platform Distribution. "This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to delivering premium experiences across platforms and meeting consumers where they are -- anytime, anywhere.
ESPN's upcoming flagship sports streaming service is set to debut Aug. 21, and will carry programming from all ESPN networks, and include content from the NFL and WWE. Pricing for a standalone subscription to ESPN Unlimited is $30 a month ($300 annually), while bundle options with Disney Plus and Hulu will cost $36 per month with ads, or $46 a month to go ad-free after the special promotional rate of $30 per month for 12 months expires.
Comparatively, Fox One's monthly price for its Aug. 21 launch will be $20 per month. The platform will stream live sports, news, reality shows, animated series and a variety of other entertainment content from its local stations, and channels such as Fox Sports, Fox, FS1, FS2, Fox News and Fox Deportes.
