The Epic Games Store is offering two free PC games this week for Epic users. For a limited time, you can grab an excellent visual novel and a co-op puzzle game at no charge.

Beacon Pines

Though Beacon Pines stars a cast of cute animal characters, don't be deceived: it's still a very creepy and emotionally deep game. As in the Moss games, the visual novel Beacon Pines is set within the pages of a storybook, and you control both the reader and a character inside it. As you investigate weird occurrences in Beacon Pines, you'll collect charms that can rewrite the story at specific turning points. Players have enjoyed Beacon Pines' story-rich adventure as it has over 2,500 "Overwhelmingly Positive" player reviews on Steam.

We Were Here Together

If you're looking for your next co-op adventure to play, check out We Were Here Together. It's a puzzle adventure where you play as Antarctic explorers on a rescue mission who get into more than they bargained for.
