Emma Watson cut a glamorous figure as she joined a host of stars for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art gala in Los Angeles over the weekend.
It was a rare public appearance for the actress, 36, who looked incredible in a black velvet minidress which was embroidered with floral detailing and matching heels.
Inside the event, Emma caught up with Cynthia Erivo, Lilly Singh and Janelle Monae.
Cynthia, 39, looked incredible in a strapless black velvet gown which had a voluminous skirt.
The star-studded opening night gala saw Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria and Katy Perry lead the stars, ahead of the museum's public debut on Tuesday.
It was hosted by founders George Lucas and Mellody Hobson at its $1.5billion, 300,000-square-foot campus in Exposition Park.

Emma was last seen at the Venice Film Festival.
Prior to this, the actress enjoyed a holiday in St Tropez, France.
The holiday came after she was seen getting cosy with a new love interest in Oxford in June.
The Harry Potter star was seen sitting on the bank of the River Thames in Oxford, with onlookers saying it looked like the pair were enjoying a 'cute date'.
Meanwhile, her father has warned the parents of the new Harry, Ron and Hermione of the 'impact of fame on children' as filming for the HBO Harry Potter TV series begins.
The latest leading trio were finally announced after months of speculation – with Dominic McLaughlin landing the title role, while Arabella Stanton is set to play Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout will portray Ron Weasley.
Emma played Hermione for ten years in the Harry Potter film series, and now her dad Chris has told of how he worked hard to keep her 'grounded'.
He told Times Radio: 'As a parent, you have to be scared... This can be a very difficult thing for a parent and child to handle, or not.
'It certainly helped that I don’t actually watch movies, it’s not a big thing in the house, and so it was easier for us to keep her feet on the ground.'
He added: 'Normal life continued as far as possible: her homework would go back to school on motorbikes, admittedly, but she had to do her homework and check in.'

Filming for the new HBO series started this June in France with cast and crew setting up on the Île de Sein off the coast of Brittany where they are thought to be re-creating the famous moment that Hagrid said, 'You're a wizard, Harry!'
