Ellie Goulding shares new snap days after giving birth to her 'beautiful and healthy' baby daughter Iris with boyfriend Beau Minniear

Ellie Goulding has returned to social media with a new snap days after revealing she'd given birth to her 'beautiful' second child.

The singer, 39, revealed last week she's welcomed a baby girl named Iris with her boyfriend Beau Minniear.

Following her daughter's arrival, Ellie took to Instagram Stories to share a snap of herself alongside the caption: 'Paging Earth.'

The songstress already shares son Arthur, four, with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, who she split from in 2024.

Ellie placed an announcement in the Births, Marriages and Deaths section of The Times newspaper which confirmed the name of her daughter is is: 'Iris Edaline Minniear-Goulding.'

The full announcement read: 'Minniear-Goulding: On 6th March 2026 to Ellie Goulding and Beau Minniear, a daughter, Iris Edaline.' 

Ellie gave birth to her second child, her first with Beau, on March 6 at the Lindo Wing in London.

Taking to Instagram in her post, she wrote: 'On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her.

'It was fitting that I spent International Women's Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary's, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness.

'I will always be in awe of midwives. This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.' 

She also shared a photo of a cake decorated with the words 'welcome baby sister'. 

Ellie was treated to a baby shower by her celebrity pals in London in January. 

The Burn hitmaker partied at a 1970s-themed bash inspired by Apple TV's retro comedy Palm Royale.

Ellie revealed her pregnancy as she walked the red carpet heavily pregnant at the Fashion Awards in early December. 

Since her relationship with Beau went public in September 2025, the pair have holidayed together in Italy, where Beau shared an intimate photograph of Ellie lying in an unmade hotel-room bed online.

He also appears in several raunchy scenes in Ellie's latest music video, Destiny.

Opening up about her experience of pregnancy this time, Ellie said in January: 'I have an amazing boyfriend.

'I do have it a little easier in that I do have amazing support. I'm still working every day and still writing every day.

'It's just that I am growing a human inside me. I'm perhaps not the most, like, Mother Earth about it, if you know what I mean?

'It's a beautiful thing to be able to grow a child, and I feel very lucky that I'm healthy – but it's not all I am right now.' 

Ellie finalised her divorce from art dealer ex Caspar in January 2025 and the two remain on good terms as they co-parent Arthur.

Caspar, 34, has moved on with actress Olivia Wilde, 41, with the two spotted enjoying a romantic weekend in Mexico City last month.

Ellie won't be off work for too long after it was announced this week that she will headline Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland on Saturday, May 23.
