2024’s biggest discounts on the ever-useful (and ever-customizable) Elgato Stream Deck are happening now, conveniently just before the holidays. For gamers, streamers, and just anyone who can appreciate good shortcut buttons that save time and effort, the trusty Elgato Stream Deck Mk. 2 with 15 buttons, and its larger sibling, the Stream Deck XL with a whopping 32 buttons, are currently discounted to the same prices we saw over Black Friday, selling for $119.99 and $189.99, respectively.

Even the newer, productivity-focused Stream Deck Neo is discounted at Amazon and Best Buy to $79.99 (was $99.99). This model has just 8 customizable buttons, but stands out with a display that shows the time and date, for those who need to keep close tabs on those things. Not only that, the knob- and touchscreen-touting Stream Deck Plus is cheaper cheaper than usual. It’s $179.99 at Amazon (was $199.99).

Originally made as a tool for streaming, letting streamers execute complex transitions, display overlays for viewers, and other tricky production feats with a one-person show (it’s still unmatched for this purpose), the functionality and versatility of the Stream Deck has expanded to the point where just about any desktop gamer can benefit from its array of easy-to-reach buttons. Its large library of plug-ins has allowed it to thrive in various communities. For instance, you could use the Helldivers 2 plugin to quickly use Strategems commands, or the DIM plugin to efficiently access and organize your inventory in Destiny 2. You can even access a vast collection of helpful productivity applications to help streamline your workflow. Our pals at The Verge even made a free plug-in that turns a button into bubble wrap in case you feel the need to fidget.

The Elgato Stream Deck Mk. 2 has 15 customizable buttons that can launch desktop applications, control audio mixing levels, or even adjust the lighting around your home. This version is an improved model of the original, featuring a fixed-angle stand, detachable USB-C connection, support for animated screensavers, and an interchangeable faceplate.

$190

The largest version of the Elgato Stream Deck includes the most buttons, but lacks the adjustable stand of the Mk. 2. You’ll get a whopping 32 buttons that can be configured with a wide variety of helpful applications from the Elgato Marketplace.

$170

The Stream Deck Plus features a total of eight customizable buttons, supplemented by a touch bar that can be used to swipe through pages of applications and four dials that can be used for volume controls or mapped like an ordinary button.

$80

Elgato’s latest Stream Deck isn’t equipped with fancy dials like its pricier model, but this eight-button version has access to all the same handy tools and apps to help you streamline your setup.
