As such, the future looks exciting for FromSoftware fans but, in the meantime, there is a way to enjoy Elden Ring over and over again thanks to its dedicated modding community.
One such example is Tower of Judgment, a free-to-download Elden Ring mod courtesy of user q1332104840 over on Nexus Mods. Uploaded just yesterday, this mod aims to offer a complete gameplay overhaul and a new content expansion mod. At the center is the "Tower of Judgment" challenge dungeon, "featuring exclusive enemies, unique boss fights, about two hundred battle levels!"
Additionally, the Tower of Judgment mod comes alongside multiple new game files, meaning that players operating a lower-end PC may suffer some frame drops. However, it is always worth trying nonetheless, especially if you are getting some brand-new Elden Ring content out of it. Not only that, but it is only 2.8GB to download, so you will not have to make much room for it or wait too long for its installation.
Despite Elden Ring giving fans the chance to play either online or offline, the Tower of Judgment mod can only be played offline, meaning that you will not be able to summon friends or deal with any invaders. Additionally, attempting to play this mod with any other major gameplay overhaul mods is not recommended unless you want to deal with script conflicts.
The Tower of Judgment mod is just one example of the thousands of brand-new ways that you can experience Elden Ring almost five-years on from its launch. It is not easy to keep players coming back to single-player titles, but thanks to its modding community, the FromSoftware hit is still very much alive, with a dedicated fanbase to boot.
It is an exciting time to be an Elden Ring fan, with players recently deducing that another expansion may be on the horizon. At the time of writing, a sequel has not been confirmed, and, as far as we know, only its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was initially planned. However, with clues hinting at another arrival, who knows what the future holds?
