Elden Ring With Survival Mechanics Is A Real Twist

Created by Dragonhatch1 over on Nexus Mods, the ER Survival Modpack combines five different mods into one easy-to-download pack. According to the curator, this pack "brings everything you want from Elden Ring" but with some added extras, such as the need to eat and drink thanks to survival-based features, drawn-out boss fights and exploration, an improved class system, and more.

Some examples of the mods included in this pack are ER Survival, Seamless Co-op, and Rings of Power. The first, ER Survival, will allow players to enjoy new boss mechanics, player mechanics (such as deflecting) and special effects on some in-game items. For example, the Haligbone Arrows will now heal you upon use. In Seamless Co-op, you can expect what it says on the tin, as players will be able to team up with friends to tackle the entire game together. Although co-op is already enabled in Elden Ring, it is only available in certain circumstances, so this mod totally revolutionizes team-based gameplay. Last, but certainly not least, is Rings of Power, which adds 15 custom talismans to the game in an attempt to emulate classic RPG classes with each having their own unique abilities.

If Elden Ring Wasn't Hard Enough Already...

Put simply, if you hoped that Elden Ring had presented more of a challenge, I would like your gaming skills, but also, this ER Survival Modpack is the perfect way to add simple tweaks to the base game which may make it more challenging, but will still keep the overall magic of the game without overhauling too much. After all, you do not have to download all the mods included, and can pick and choose the ones to suit you, whether that is adding survival-based mechanics, or just adding new abilities to the game in the shape of talismans.
