EastEnders' Shona McGarty has said her former co-star boyfriend Tony Discipline is 'the one' and vowed she will 'marry him tomorrow'.
The soap star, 34, played Whitney Dean on the show from 2008 to 2024 and her character was in an ill-fated relationship with Tony's alter ego Tyler Moon before he left the programme in 2013 to become a firefighter.
The couple attempted to take their romance off-screen however covid hit and they both became busy leaving things 'fizzled out'.
Things changed earlier this year when they took another stab at their romance, which Shona has now stated makes her 'really happy'.
In a new interview with Closer Magazine, Shona said: 'I'm really happy, I've honestly found my one. Tony is the ultimate gentleman and he treats me like a queen...
'He makes me laugh, he compliments me all the time and he genuinely wants me to do well. I just adore him. Straight away. We've always liked each other.'

She continued: 'I'd marry him tomorrow! In my book of life, I've got all these chapters that are part of my story but now I'm at the chapter where I've found my one.'
Her new chat comes just days after Tony dropped a huge hint at a proposal.
Tony said he does not want 'anyone else' as he opened up about his romance with Shona at the opening night of Oscar-winning lyricist Don Black's sold-out West End show From The Heart.
Asked if he wants to marry Shona, Tony said: 'Absolutely, that is the love of my life, she's the love of my life. I don't want anyone else. That's my woman, that's my soulmate...
'We were boyfriend and girlfriend in the show so you build up some kind of rapport. Maybe there was some kind of underlying chemistry there, but in the last year or so it's really gone up a notch.'
Shona's romance with Tony comes less than a year after she split from her fiancé David Bracken.

Tony is not the first former EastEnders actor Shona has dated. She was previously in relationships with Matt Lapinskas (pictured in 2011)
The actress and the Irish guitarist became engaged after he proposed in London's Holland Park, but mutually called time on their relationship before Shona entered the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle in November 2024.
She later faced romance rumours with her rapper campmate Aitch, 26, after the pair appeared to grow close on the ITV show.
Tony is not the first former EastEnders actor Shona has dated. She was previously in relationships with Matt Lapinskas, who played Tyler's on-screen brother Anthony Moon, and Max Bowden, who portrayed Ben Mitchell.
Tony previously dated Shona's friend Jacqueline Jossa, who continues to play Lauren Branning in the BBC soap.
