The big news in the world of tech deals this week is that Amazon Prime Day has officially been announced for June 23 - 26. As always, the retailer has started its promotions early with some fantastic warm-up deals on own-brand services.

The best early deal? In my opinion, it's the good old extended Audible free trial. Right now, instead of 30 days, you can get a full three months of the standard Audible Membership on the house without paying a penny. That's unlimited access to over one million audiobooks and one free book token per month. Essentially, that's three books that are yours to keep in your library, forever.

Another excellent early promotion is for Kindle Unlimited: the brand's vast ebook library. Currently, that's also being offered with an extended three-month free trial, which means you'll save $30 / £24 in total.

Kindle Unlimited features a huge array of titles and magazines, which (as you'd imagine) make a fantastic pairing with one of the brand's Kindle ereaders. Those are almost certainly going to be on sale at record-low prices in the upcoming Prime Day sale, so this is a great opportunity to get both a device and an ebook service cheap.

Today's best early Prime Day deals

Note that these early Prime Day deals — like all other Prime deals — require a Prime membership to be eligible. If you're not a member, don't fret - you can still get them by simply signing up for the Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. That will cover you not just for these promotions, but for any exclusives featured in the upcoming sale later this month.
