Robert Irwin may soon be exploring new territories.
Fresh off winning season 34 of Dancing With the Stars in November, the wildlife conservationist is in talks with ABC to host a spinoff series currently titled Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro, according to multiple outlets.
The new reality series—expected to air during the summer on ABC and Hulu—will feature dancers competing throughout an audition process, with the winner earning a position as a pro dancer on the upcoming 35th season of Dancing With the Stars, per the reports.
Beyond the most recent Mirrorball winner joining the spinoff, current pro Mark Ballas plus his mom Shirley Ballas—the head judge on the U.K.’s Strictly Come Dancing—are also in discussions to judge the new competition show. As for the third judging slot, the outlets report that’ll be filled by a rotating cast of guest panelists.
E! News has reached out to ABC and a rep for Robert for comment and has not yet heard back.
Though Robert may be dancing into a new role, the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here co-host has also seen his name thrown around as leading man for an upcoming season of The Bachelor. As for his take on the rumors?
"Never say never,” the 22-year-old told Entertainment Tonight Feb. 6. “I'm in this realm right now where I'm like, ‘never say never.’"
“Who knows,” he continued. "It's a strange world. Anything could happen."
However, Robert emphasized that, like his parents Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin, his heart lies with the animals.

"I feel like some of the rumors flying around during Dancing with the Stars like, ‘Robert's gonna be the next Bachelor,’” he explained. “I'm like, ‘Oh my goodness.’ I'm a zookeeper."
"I'm an animal conservationist,” Robert shared. “That's my thing. My world is very different from most of the things that are reported on about me.”
