Drake's baby mama, 36, marries Muay Thai toyboy, 26, in lavish ceremony… and rapper isn't in attendance

Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake's eight-year-old son Adonis, has married a much younger Muay Thai fighter in Canada.

The 36-year-old French artist and former porn star exchanged vows on Father's Day with the 26-year-old Turkish athlete Efe Caliskan.

She joyously uploaded a suite of joint posts with her wedding planners containing photos and video from the fete, which she raved in the caption was a 'fairytale.'

Her nuptials reportedly took place at a venue called Erin Estate, located about an hour north of Guelph in southwestern Ontario, according to Yahoo! Life.

Some of the guests were visible in her Instagram reel, including the bridesmaids and groomsmen, but Drake was not in attendance, DJ Vlad reported on X.

Although Drake initially expressed doubts he was the father of Brussaux's son, they have since settled into what appears to be an amicable co-parenting relationship. 

At her wedding to Caliskan, the bride is said to have worn a seven-carat pear-cut diamond ring from Zaid Jewels, per the New York Post. 

The ceremony occurred one week to the day after Caliskan made his MMA debut at the Canadian Fight League, earning a unanimous decision win.

Brussaux evidently shares Caliskan's enthusiasm for Muay Thai and posted footage of the pair of them training together to Instagram in January.

She was never seriously romantically involved with Drake before she announced in May 2017 that she was three-and-a-half months pregnant with his baby.

'If it's in fact Drake's child, which he does not believe it is, he will do right by the child,' his representative sniffed to People magazine. 'She's just another woman in a long line of women claiming he got them pregnant.' 

Adonis was born in October 2017, and the following year Drake confirmed that he had undergone DNA testing that confirmed his paternity. 

Although he initially adopted a tight-lipped attitude to the baby drama, he broke his silence after Pusha T dropped a diss track called The Story of Adidon.

'You are hiding a child,' Pusha T taunted Drake in the song. 'Let that boy come home. Deadbeat mothaf***a playing border patrol. Ooh.' 

The Story of Adidon was released in May 2018, and that June, Drake released his album Scorpion, containing a variety of confessions about his son.

'I wasn't hiding my kid from the world. I was hiding the world from my kid,' he rapped on the album's track Emotionless. 'From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate. Until you staring at your seed, you can never relate.'  

Scorpion also contained a song called March 14 in which Drake shed light on his personal equation with Brussaux in the run-up to their child's conception.

'She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine,' he acknowledged in the lyrics to March 14. 'Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time, and all it took was one time. S***, we only met two times, two times.'
