Drake makes wild $2,651 Nando's order following his first Melbourne show after going on a fine dining spree in Australia

Drake kicked off the Melbourne leg of his Anita Max Win tour on Sunday, the first of four he will play at Rod Laver Arena.

And when the Canadian rapper wrapped up his 90 minute set around 11pm, he treated his entourage and invited backstage guests to a $2651 Nando's feast. 

Daily Mail Australia obtained a copy of the receipt, which included eight BBQ ribs ($95.80), 60 mild Perinaise Classic chicken pitas ($717) and 60 chicken tender skewers ($177). 

He also ordered ten Haloumi and chicken pitas ($159.50), 20 large chips ($199), 30 large tubs of spicy rice ($111.75), 15 large corn ($11.75), 10 vegetarian pitas ($139.50), 30 garden salads ($223.50) and five Nata's Portuguese tart packs ($74.75).

15 'extra hot' whole chickens ($374.25) and 25 individual sauces were also included in the order.

The One Dance hitmaker's team requested that the mammoth feast, made at Nando's on Elizabeth Street in Melbourne City, be hand-delivered to Rod Laver Arena. 

'Drake' is listed as the customer name at the top of the receipt, although he would have been preparing to hit the stage at 8.58pm when the order was made. 

Nando's told Daily Mail Australia they 'can neither confirm nor deny' whether the rapper paid for his entire flock of cooked birds in cash, or by using his rumoured 'Black Card'.

But there is one small clue in Drake's receipt that confirms long-held rumours about the Portuguese chicken chain's celebrity card. 

Under each listed item, the total price is adjusted to $0.00 in the next line of the receipt. 

While Nando’s employees remained hush about the exact perks of the secretive 'High Five' black card, it is believed owners of the card are entitled to free chicken and drinks... for life. 

The likes of Ed Sheeran and Jack Whitehall have let the secret slip before. Ed was photographed showing his off and the UK comic dedicated an entire bit the woeful tale of having his revoked. 

The Travels With My Father star, 36, shared how he made liberal use of the card whilst studying at university in Manchester, by using it 'every day for six months'.

'We can tell you for certain is that no-one who's requested a card, no matter how politely, has ever received one,' the South African-born restaurant's website reads. 

'Asking for one is simply the biggest taboo - a definite no no.'

Other names on Nando's elusive VIP list reportedly include, Adele, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, who posed with their chicken during London Fashion Week once, Post Malone - who flaunted a $1527 receipt in 2023), Beyonce (£1,400 in 2013) and even Prince Harry. 

Drake has made ample use of his inflation-proof meal ticket, which he's held since at least 2017. 

'Winner winner Nando’s chicken dinner,' the singer posted to Instagram after he won International Male Solo Artist at the 2017 Brit Awards.

That same month, British tabloids reported Drake dropped $650 on takeaway for his crew after a concert in the English city of Leeds. 

The God's Plan rapper and his entourage have been wining and dining at five-star establishments in Melbourne, including Crown-owned Nobu and Maison Bâtard since their arrival to Australia. 

And last Thursday, he picked up the bill at high-end restaurant Gibney for MAFS bride Carina Mirabile and her group of influencer friends. 

Daily Mail Australia understands the franchise in Melbourne is under instruction to deliver the same order to Rod Laver post-concert for the next three nights.
