Rare treasures are abundant in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, with one found in the Dellamorte Estates that you can get as a reward for finding the solution to a unique puzzle. In the city of Treviso, this area has some interesting monuments that can be manipulated to reveal a hidden secret. Those who discover the puzzle within the Estates can solve it to gain powerful new items for their journey.

Hunting for treasure is one of the many reasons to explore every area you visit. Some important items, such as Etheric Remnants in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, can only be found in hidden sections of your map, which you unlock by solving puzzles similar to the one in the Dellamorte Estates. Sometimes, you can even start new side quests for additional rewards by visiting places you've never been to.

How To Find The Dellamorte Estates Puzzle

Head Towards The Treviso Canals

As soon as you are in the city of Treviso, go to the northeast section of your map to reach the Dellamorte Estates. From here, you should be searching for the Treviso Canals area, where you will come across a large garden filled with statues. The statues themselves are the key to the puzzle, but only once you manage to find the right spot in the Estates where they are located.

The Canals are easier to find if you start from the Grande Market Beacon and go north past the Heart and Central Beacons also in the region. Follow the vines to lead your character to the Estates garden hosting the statues tied to the puzzle. Several trees dotted around the northern section of the city will also give you the right clues to continue toward the right place.

You might encounter some enemies along the way to the Dellamorte Estates. Defeating these foes increases your bond with Lucanis, so it may be worth taking some time to eliminate these threats.

Before you even choose to enter Treviso in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you need to complete the "Sea of Blood" quest in the game's story. This allows you to add Lucanis to your party, whose skills are necessary to solve the Estates puzzle.

Once you cross a bridge into the garden, you will be within the Treviso Canals and ready to start the puzzle. Feel free to use zip lines or other traversal tools in the city to make finding the puzzle easier. Thankfully, you do not need any items or abilities besides Lucanis to solve the puzzle when you eventually come across it.

Position Every Statue To Face The Right Way

Dragon Age The Veilguard using Lucanis' Spite's Reach ability to reveal statue from Dellamorte Estates puzzle

As you investigate the Dellamorte Estates garden, you will notice several statues in the area. Look for the three statues with levers on their pedestals, which you can interact with to change which direction they face. You need to change the position of each mobile statue to solve the puzzle, but only Lucanis' ability can reveal what is the correct direction for each.

Scattered around the garden are small purple rifts called a Veil Instability that Lucanis can expose. Aim your camera at these rifts and press R1 to use Lucanis' companion skill, Spite's Reach, to reveal what is hiding in these spots. Interact with each Veil Instability near a statue to reveal a mirrored version of it pointing in a different direction.

Pressing R1 near a Veil Instability brings up a wheel of multiple companion abilities. A common mistake in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is choosing the wrong skill for a situation, so carefully navigate this wheel to always use Spite's Reach correctly.

Move each statue to face the same direction as the entities revealed through Spite's Reach. There are four statues total in the garden, so make sure to investigate all of them to point each the right way. After doing this, use other Veil Instabilities in the garden to reach three levers in the middle of the area, which open a large gate once all have been activated.

If all the statues are in the right spots and each lever has been pulled, the gate will open, solving the puzzle and revealing rewards. When you find the solution to the puzzle in the Dellamorte Estates, your character can get the following items:

Crow's Perch Medallion

Uncommon Amulet

+20% Strike Ability Damage
