Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.
Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.
She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.
During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.
Ever since Boston Blue's season 2 renewal was announced, viewers have been wondering which characters from the first installment will return, and Donnie Wahlberg may have just confirmed one major return.
Marisa Ramirez, who portrayed Maria Baez in both the flagship show and its spinoff, was one of the characters who fans really wanted to see return in Boston Blue season 2. She is the love interest of Wahlberg's character, Danny Reagan, and made several guest appearances in the new series. So, naturally, audiences were curious about her return, especially since the character put her foot down and said that she had no plans to move to Massachusetts.
In a clip on Instagram, Wahlberg is seen congratulating Ramirez on her appearance in a Jordan Knight music video. At the end of his speech, he revealed that the actress would indeed be a part of Boston Blue season 2. However, he did not reveal if she would continue to be a guest star or if she would become a part of the permanent cast.
Not long after the footage's release, TV Insider asked Boston Blue creators Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis to confirm whether Baez would be coming back. The duo were cryptic in their responses, but it was heavily implied that Wahlberg's comment wasn't just a joke.
Sonnier teased, "That is a distinct possibility, yes." He took it a step further and coyly said that there was a chance that Baez, who was so reluctant to move in Boston Blue season 1, might be living with Danny in Massachusetts. Margolis chimed in and stated, "Crazier things have happened."
The creators' comments make it fairly clear that Ramirez's role in Boston Blue season 2 could be significantly larger than it was in the first chapter. Baez leaving New York after adamantly expressing that she had no interest in moving would be a huge break in character for her, and it wouldn't make a lot of sense. However, since Sonnier, Margolis, and Wahlberg all kept things relatively vague, the big move could take place closer to the end of the season.
Boston Blue season 1's finale will debut on March 13, 2026, at 10:00 PM ET and 7:00 PM PT on CBS.
