Another opportunity to attend one of Europe’s great film festivals with the American Pavilion (AmPav) and IndieWire Future of Filmmaking is just around the corner, as applications for our Venice Intensive are live, but closing soon.

Attending the Venice International Film Festival is the kind of singular experience that sits near the top of any cinephile’s bucket list. In addition to being the world’s oldest film festival, it often serves as the unofficial starting gun of the fall movie season and the subsequent awards race. The festival boasts a mix of Hollywood glamor and European cinema pedigree that’s impossible to replicate anywhere else. And with AmPav and IndieWire, you can experience both the festival and Future of Filmmaking’s exclusive programming.

Venice Intensive, which runs from Tuesday, September 1 through Wednesday, September 9, offers a unique blend of film festival access and broader cultural experiences that you can only get in Italy. In addition to festival screenings and programming, participants will enjoy activities such as outings to the islands of Murano and Burano.

The program fee includes eight nights of accommodations in Venice, festival accreditation, exclusive programming, local transportation, wrap dinner, and alumni membership that includes invites to events in New York City and Los Angeles after the program ends.
