Doechii has made a statement by adding 'lesbian' to the bio of her new Instagram account.
The rapper, 27, (real name Jaylah Hickmon) looks to have created a new profile to accompany her 'official' one and has chosen to signify her sexuality.
Explaining why she wanted to make the new account she wrote in one of the two posts now up that she wants a space to 'express Jaylah the human outside of Doechii the artist.'
The secondary account has the handle @gutsgritsglamour and the bio reads: 'home life • wellness • books/essays • clubbing • lesbian • luxury • travel • beauty • music • side quests • fashion • film.'
She previously spoke about her sexuality with Gay Times in October 2024, saying: 'I think I've always been gay. I always knew I was gay.
'I'm currently bisexual. I am with a woman now and I have always known that I loved women. I've been very, very aware from an early age.'

Doechii hasn't mentioned her girlfriend since then, nor did she reveal who it was. There have never been any public sightings of them together.
She has had an incredible few years in music and recently won Best Music Video at the Grammys for her hit Anxiety.
She proudly posed with her award after the show.
However her UK fans missed out on an opportunity to see her perform last summer when she pulled out of performing at All Points East Festival in August.
She was due to perform on the Saturday of the event but the festival announced that she would no longer be doing her set in a social media statement.
They said on Instagram: 'We're very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows.
'She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage. All Points East has an amazing line-up including RAYE, Tyla, JADE, Jyoty, Nao and many more, and it's set to be a truly unforgettable day.'
Doechii also pulled out of Forwards Bristol festival and cancelled her performance on Thursday at Rock en Seine in Paris that month.
Fans were devastated about the news as they demanded a good replacement for her act - which ended up being FKA Twigs.

It came a few weeks before Doechii declared she was 'right' to call out President Donald Trump for his protests crackdown last summer, after being praised by fans for her impassioned speech at the BET Awards.
The rapper used her acceptance speech at the ceremony to address the protests in downtown Los Angeles over mass deportations and ICE raids, which at the time the President responded to by deploying the National Guard in a controversial move.
Speaking to British Vogue last year, Doechii addressed the decision saying: 'I'm not that desensitised, and it felt right. I felt like I needed to use that moment, and they were live, so it wasn't s**t they could do about it.'
The hitmaker also posed for an eye-catching shoot with the publication, where she stunned in a dramatic sheer beaded gown and a fun orange feathered mini dress.
As accepted her first ever BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist in June, Doechii used her acceptance speech to address the unrest over ICE raids in LA.
After thanking BET for her honour, she said: 'As much as I'm honored by this award, I do want to address what's happening right now outside of the building,' she said to applause.
'There are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of 'Law & order.' Trump is using military forces to stop a protest,' she added.
'I want you all to consider what kind of government it appears to be one every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us,' she added.
She previously spoke about her sexuality with Gay Times in October 2024, saying: 'I think I've always been gay. I always knew I was gay...'
'What type of government is that? People are being swept up and torn from their families, and I feel it's my responsibility as an artist to use this moment to speak up for all oppressed people,' she said to more applause.
'For black people. For Latino people, for trans people. For the people in Gaza. We all deserve to live in hope and not in fear. I hope we stand together. My brothers and my sisters, against hate, and we protest against it. Thank you, BET!' she concluded.
During her British Vogue interview, Doechii also shared the goals she has in the creation of her music.
She said: 'I want to preserve this tradition and the roots of it, but I want to do it in a way that's digestible for drunk kids at a festival.'
