The fully wireless, battery-powered Displace TV is a real product shipping this year and starting at $1,499.

Hey guys, I'm with one of the coolest TVs I've ever seen, and I've been doing this for more than 20 years. This is the Displaced TV Pro. It's a 55 inch wireless TV that uses batteries, but the coolest part is that it has suction cups you can stick right on the wall. In fact, I just did it and it was pretty easy. There's a built in system to show you how it's sticking to the wall. It hangs on there and I actually felt pretty confident backing away from the wall and seeing this TV stick there is pretty amazing. So all told, this thing has a complete design around the concept of being wireless and portable. So of course it's got built-in batteries. I'm told the batteries on this model last up to 8 hours. There's also a charging port that sticks out from the side. These other little ports that you can connect HDMI to. You can even plug in a. Acoustic using the other ports. The displaced Pro also comes with a soundbar and speakers that are completely detachable. If you add the soundbar and the speakers to the TV itself, you can actually up that battery life to 60 hours, which is pretty cool for a TV that again doesn't need any wires. You don't need to plug it in. Now displace of course built in wireless streaming to this television, but the streaming itself is just the beginning. There's a new OS called Displace OS that's designed similarly to a web browser, in fact, where you can get in and look at all these different AI agents. There's going to be the ability to stream, of course, all the various streaming services. You can even connect a keyboard and speakers and do different kinds of productivity. Now this is not a cheap TV. The display TV starts at $50 to $6000 depending on when you buy it for this 55 inch. Model. It's an OLED TV, so I expect the picture quality to be superb. There's also a 27 inch size, and there's a displaced basic that costs less as well, also in a 55 and 27 inch size. So the displace TV also comes with a unique remote control. It's got these programmable buttons at the top. It's got a whole section at the bottom that works a little bit like a trackpad. I was able to scroll around on the screen, click through. It felt really intuitive and responsive. Now the suction cups on the back of this TV are really cool. There's 4 big ones on the 55 inch. And as you stick them up on the wall, there's actually a UI that shows you as you're holding it up on the wall, what it actually needs to stick on there so it'll show you over time the suction getting stronger and stronger and stronger. As I pulled away from the wall, it felt pretty steady as I saw that of course it was pretty heavy holding a 55 inch TV on the wall, so I was glad when I got that green light and was able to back off. All things considered though, a really intuitive, easy experience to get this TV on the wall. Put it up a nice level spot, got a nice leveling system here. Um Mm. Um It's a little heavy, but it's nice to see that I got feedback here on these little guys telling me how much suction we have. And now I'm gonna pop it. Right off So of course one of the use cases here is outside or around a pool in the backyard. I was able to pick up this TV and walk around relatively easily. It's a 55 inch TV, but it's an OLED, and I've carried a lot of these things. This one felt pretty light. That's the displaced TV. I'm David Katzmaier at CES 2025.
