Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger Make Rare Joint Appearance for Chic Date Night in New York City
Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus are having tutu much fun.
The National Treasure alum and the Walking Dead star made a rare public appearance together on May 7, stepping out for a romantic date night at New York City Ballet's Spring Gala.
For the occasion, Diane donned what she described on Instagram as the "dress of my dreams," wearing an Erdem creation featuring a pink satin bra with blue ribbon straps, as well as an ostrich feather pencil skirt. The 47-year-old competed the chic look with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, which she quipped made her "feel like a million bucks (literally)."
Meanwhile, Norman, 57, kept it classic in an all-black suit.
As they hit the red carpet, Norman was ever the gentleman, kissing his longtime partner of nearly 10 years' hand as he led her down the walkway. In fact, Diane couldn't help to rave about her man, captioning a photo of the pair on her Instagram Story, "My handsome date."
And the couple, who share 7-year-old daughter Nova, are huge fans of New York City Ballet. Diane—a trained ballerina herself—has been a frequent guest at the dance troupe's annual fundraiser since 2016, with Norman first joining her at the event in 2023.
"I used to be a ballet dancer, and I studied with the Royal Academy in London for many years," Diane told Vogue in 2016, "but I’ve never had the chance to see it in New York."
But don't expect her to bring Nova to the star-studded gala anytime soon. After all, she and Norman—also dad to Mingus Reedus, 26, with ex Helena Christensen—prefer to keep their daughter out of the spotlight.

“While we understand that some people would like to see a picture of our daughter, we as parents, want nothing more than allow her to grow up in privacy and safety," Diane wrote on Instagram in 2019 after paparazzi took a photo of Nova without consent. "Please put yourself in our shoes. We are just like any parent wanting the very best for our child."
The Inglorious Basterds actress also wants Nova to experience a relatively normal childhood.
"I really want her to be innocent," she told Yahoo! Life in 2022, "and I want her to explore life and the world without having her every development put in magazines."
